NEW Sinful Colors Summer 2014
Silk + Satin and Full Throttle Collections
According to this article from Examiner.com, it sounds like the shades in the Silk + Satin Collection (the six shades on the bottom row above) have a matte finish.
The shades in the Full Throttle Collection (the five shades on the bottom row above) have a "rubberized" texture. I'm wondering how these will compare to the leather finish polishes from the Fall 2013 Leather Luxe Collection. Hum...
The Examiner article states that these collection will hit stores August 2014 at Walgreens and other retailers, so I'm guessing we'll see them at Rite Aid too. For a full list of the shade names in this collection and more info, click here.
Thanks so much, A., for the great tip about this!
I did see the Leather ones but never the textured ones here locally in central Ohio, wonder if I will ever see these....
ReplyDeleteTake heart, fellow Ohioan, I just saw these at my local Rite Aid in NE Ohio!
DeleteI'm soooo impressed with this nail polish company. I have three colors (so far) and with my Essie No Chips Ahead topcoat I get six days of no chipping and microscopic tip wear. For the price and the color options they are perfect for fun summer colors.
ReplyDeleteActually, looks like it's the other way around -- 4 of 5 in the top row have 'rubber' in the name. Curious to see what the texture's actually like on these, but then, as much as I like textured polishes (I have a lot of issues with polish that the textures usually eliminate), I don't buy them that often since I've figured out how to turn just about anything INTO a textured polish.
ReplyDeleteTake my money!
ReplyDeleteTake my money! A matte silver? Yes please!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you Julietta, love the idea of a matte silver! :-)
DeleteI absolutely hated the leather textured formula. It was so gritty and patchy and chipped off almost immediately. I bought four before trying one and ended up throwing them away.
ReplyDeleteIf I see this collection I'll check them out, but I'm more into sparkly and shiny nails. Any polish can be mattified with top coat.
ReplyDeleteAnd any matte polish can be shine-ified with shiny top coat. :D
DeleteOoh more Sinful Colors nail polish! Just what I need. hehehe I'm interested in Matte About You, Pipaya, Prime Purple and maybe Solar Flux. LOL @ the latter being described as "A subtle touch of yellow."
ReplyDeleteThank goodness this collection does nothing for me. The last thing I need is more nail polish! I'm to the point now where a polish has to be pretty unusual or interesting to get me to buy it. I agree with Glam Puss, you can make anything in your stash a matte...
ReplyDeleteThese sound very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI actually already found the Silk & Satin Collection yesterday at a Walgreens by me, and it is the 6 polishes on the bottom of the photo. The Full Throttle polishes are the 5 on the top - that is the collection I really want.
ReplyDeleteIs anyone swatching these yet?
ReplyDeleteThe Satin display showed up at (one of) my Walgreens today! I picked up "Real Teal" so I will probably be trying it out over the weekend. I may pick up more shades...who am I kidding? I probably will, if I like the finish. The yellow looks a lot like more like "Unicorn" or "Daisy Daze" in person than it does in this picture.
ReplyDeleteI have both collections at my local Walgreen they also have more colors that aren't shown in the picture
ReplyDeleteFound all five full throttle polishes already, pics on my Instagram and twitter. They are not like the leather ones which I also have. They have the look of stucco lol (only thing I could think of), while still keeping a glossy finish and rubber feel.... Honestly it is like nothing I've seen before.
ReplyDeleteI just saw this display at the Walgreens in a Minneapolis suburb. It said Silk + Satin and only had the six colors and 2 clear top coat polishes.
ReplyDeleteI picked up a couple of these today, and the Full Throttle collection has Casablanca in the display!
