I tend to use everything from the Resist and Skin Recovery lines depending on how things are looking that day. My favorite is probably the Resist barrier repair. I used to use Dermalogica and my favorites from that brand were the overnight repair serum and their barrier repair. I actually kind of like this Nutribiotic face cream my sister picked up for me on clearance one day so I use that a lot at night. If I'm putting on makeup in the evening I usually use a Desert Essence moisturizer that you can get from natural foods stores for like five dollars.Blaurichehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156018370991860571noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-39809463193157822562012-06-21T20:35:56.029-07:002012-06-21T20:35:56.029-07:00combination leaning toward dry right now and dry i...combination leaning toward dry right now and dry in the winter and I love Aveeno Smart Essentials SPF 30...which is on clearance 50% off at CVS right now! but that worries me, hope it's not being discontinuedAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15095900331871134033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-47280434801241713842012-06-21T18:02:54.337-07:002012-06-21T18:02:54.337-07:00I've got combination skin, I really don't ...I've got combination skin, I really don't break out that often. The best thing I've ever done for my skin is to start using the NARS Body Glow II (the non-shimmery monoi oil) on my face before moisturizing. It makes my skin baby smooth, is gentle, and keeps it clear. It's pricey, but because I use so little, one bottle lasts me more than a year. I also really like Trader Joe's Enrich face lotion for daytime; it's cheap, gentle, feels great on the skin, and has SPF 15. I use The Body Shop's Nutriganics line at night, and I've been very happy with it; I stock up when they run 3 for $30 sales.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04978703690282366558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-13756337903769267542012-06-21T06:26:57.479-07:002012-06-21T06:26:57.479-07:00I have oily skin and use Garnier's Skin Renew ...I have oily skin and use Garnier's Skin Renew Daily Moisture Lotion with SPF. Before I used to only use night cream in certain areas because I was prone to breakouts but I can slather the PM on all over with no ill effects. Plus my skin is much healthier looking now.

For those looking for something for acne prone skin, Neutrogena makes a product called Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish cream that has retinol and salicylic acid. I used it for a while and it's a really great product. It doesn't dry your skin out like other acne products do and it's for adult skin. Many of the acne formulas out there are made for younger skin so they aren't doing you any favors. If for any reason I had to stop using CeraVe I'd go right back to this product. It can be hard to find, CVS is your best bet. Plus CVS makes their own version which is a couple dollars cheaper.AlRohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14888481251339289301noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-46379152669758662582012-06-20T17:23:13.875-07:002012-06-20T17:23:13.875-07:00Clinique DDML for years! It's spf 15, and it's one of Paula Begoun's (the Cosmetics Cop) recommendations for oily skin. I've also used the Regenerist fragrance-free serum if I'm feeling dry at night, although lately that's been replaced by Neutrogena's 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment, another Paula rec.

The UV lotion tends to leave me shiny, but I put some kaolin clay or silica powder from Coastal Scents on before I do my mineral makeup, and that works pretty well. (I've heard the CS silica powder compared to MUF's HD powder, but it's way cheaper. For awhile now I've been using Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion every night, and I think it is helping with my breakouts. During the day I like grapeseed oil mixed with tea tree oil if I'm staying inside, and I recently started using Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby sunblock (spf 60) by itself as a moisturizer during the day when I'm going out. It's great. It seems to be clearing my skin up nicely, and it doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes or leave my face greasy by the end of the day. The only problem with it is that it makes my face sweat for a little while after I put it on. But then I just blot and it stops after that. I have no idea why.Sarah Vaughnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14718314739268659399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-42274842422185130432012-06-20T14:01:44.445-07:002012-06-20T14:01:44.445-07:00I have normal to dry skin.
