The 24h formula is the same in US, Asia and Europe, but it already had SPF in other countries than US (SPF 15 for the oily skin formula and SPF 20 for the dry skin formula). I think Revlon did not write any sun protection factor on the bottles because FDA required tests weren't done when they first launched the 24h formula 2 years ago... now that they did thoses tests they can promote the foundations sun protection factor.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09118090046351521940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-28383049270226326172015-11-11T22:54:26.494-08:002015-11-11T22:54:26.494-08:00This new version with the pump has SPF so it has t...This new version with the pump has SPF so it has to be a different formula. The older reformulation of colorstay sucks. Nowadays, I'm a fan of the whipped though the oil control isn't *as* great as the original. The older reformulation seems a lot thinner in coverage and while it does last it makes me look shiner than cubic zirconia in sunlight. While the older one had SPF, this has that darn orchid petal extract, like no thanks. The reformulated version exaggerates every facial movement and could probably etch wrinkles on smooth baby's skin. I'm the type of girl that can wear rimmel's stay matte mousse and make it look natural so the reformulation is basically liquid cake to me. Hopefully, the pump version will be an improvement and a look back to it's former glory. Plus, the pump!Ginnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07801415049854193993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-59120094233538232182015-11-11T03:23:11.264-08:002015-11-11T03:23:11.264-08:00So they finally made a pump for the American marke...So they finally made a pump for the American market...i commented a while ago too that the Colorstay formula has changed, it's no longer as good as it used to be. The Softflex SPF 6 version was the bomb, wore like iron throughout the day. However i have moved on...i now use MAC foundations. I am finding drugstore foundations are too pink or grey or orange. I like how yellow MAC foundations are. My affair with drugstore foundations are over. sushirollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06320744440093479977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-12638866451243066952015-11-10T23:49:08.873-08:002015-11-10T23:49:08.873-08:00Hi!

I had to switch to Colorstay when they updated the formula and made Ivory five shades darker. I bought and tried the new compact in Ivory, but I'm returning it tomorrow. It was greasy, slimy, and about six shades darker. I would have to look like George Hamilton to wear this, and I haven't had sun exposure in 20 years, so I'm like Anne Hathaway pale. This won't work for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-923437194678664102.post-32972626574994255192015-11-10T23:39:38.203-08:002015-11-10T23:39:38.203-08:00Thank you, L Cook! The older version was great. The newer version's first ingredient is clopentasiloxane which is a silicone that made the foundation slide all over my face and I was at a funeral and could not wash it off. It was so uncomfortable. I purchased as many of the old version that I could find and still have a few bottles left. The old version with the soft flex is the best. It stays in place and doesn't bother my eyes like the new version. What I find strange is the Ulta website shows the old version for sale. I feel like there is a lot foundations come out for more normal to dry skin especially prestige brands. But I'm all about the Drugstore. Because that's what I can afford when I can. And still it's hard to find something for my always never had a dry patch except with a cold on the end if my nose. Lol. So happy about finding something that could work for my aging late 40s ski. That's so oily at my age. Some say it's a blessing for wrinkles and I hope there is an advantage to still having breakouts on my chin mostly, for this oily skin. That doesn't take long to show thru. Will be watching and waiting for u u to get it and review it. Been thinking about trying out the Covergirl 3-1 foundation have heard some ppl with oily skin like it? What do u think if u have tried it?? I'm curious about this new compact, but I'm thinking the lightest shade 110 Ivory will be a little too dark for me based on this photo. I normally am shade 110 in the liquid ColorStay, but I remember the same shade being darker in the Whipped version and looking funny on me. I'm hoping something in the ColorStay line will work for me, I switched over to the Kat Von D foundations for a few months and I must say while I love the coverage, my skin has been a lot more oily than it has been in my life, and I'm switching back to ColorStay to see if that was the problem.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10648545372637816955noreply@blogger.com
