Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Day 16 Deals are Live (Plus: a Hot New Laura Geller Deal and More!)

The Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Day 16 deals are live, so here's your nightly reminder, including some new tips. Be sure to read through this entire post (I don't want you to miss anything)!

HOT TIPS! Thanks so much to reader beautfaith S for the following tip! The full-size Laura Geller Baked Vanilla Highlighter w/ Applicator is now $16 here (the highlighter alone retails for $24 on the Laura Geller site). They have it listed as a $44 value, but it doesn't say it's on "sale" so I'm not sure if this is a permanent reduction, special offer, or what! Also, this set works perfectly with the current Hot Buy (Laura Geller Spackle Collection products are all $19 each; reg $32). If you bought a Spackle product along with the highlighter duo, that would put you at $35 exactly, which means you'll qualify for the FREE full-size Inkcredible Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Blackbird (free with any $35 Laura Geller purchase). Also, I took advantage of the Ulta Beauty Collection hand soap deal last night (explained below in the Ulta Beauty Collection Deals section) because I was in need of some hand soap and $2 a piece instead of $6 a piece is hard to resist. So I just wanted to point that out in case you need some hand soap!

QUESTION: I am debating on buying the Exuviance moisturizer today. I have been impressed with their products that I've tried so far (all purchased on sale due to the high price of this line) and this feels like a great opportunity. Paula's Choice (I trust their skincare reviews) has given some glowing reviews to other Exuviance products but they have not yet reviewed this one. I have read the reviews on Ulta, Amazon, and other websites and I feel like it may be a good nighttime moisturizer for me, but again, I'm on the fence (the freebie--details below--is making it even more tempting)! Are you purchasing this one? Do you already own it? Thoughts?

  1. The Hydrafirm moisturizer is AMAZING. The only reason I don't use it is because I'm oily. It's super hydrating but it has a lightweight and nongreasy texture. Plus it's part of their Age Reverse line.

Exuviance has amazing skin care. Everyone needs to pick this up. I still want to use it on myself. Even just at night

    1. Wow, thank you so much for the feedback! I was only planning to use it at night considering that I have oily skin and most people in the reviews I read said that this is very moisturizing. So I really appreciate you confirming that! I think I'm going to order now. :)

  2. The $16 Laura Geller highlighter is 0.06 ounces which is the size of the deluxe blushes. It's a decent size, but not giant. The Too Faced Love Flush minis are 0.07 ounces and the full sized Baked N Brighten Blushes are 0.176 ounces for reference. I have the full sized LG Baked Highlighter Duo which is 0.28 ounces. It's huge and I love it. I paid $44 for and it came with the brush (there was 8.25x points). It's a big double ended sponge tip applicator which is great for applying highlighter, but it is like all LG brushes in my opinion: kind of cheap feeling. But, I did kind of feel like I should have waited to get this deal for sure.

    1. Thanks! I made sure to double-check the size listed at Ulta with the size of the full-size highlighters on the LG site (link provided in my post) just to be sure. It's $24 for 0.06 oz, so I guess they're saying the applicator is worth $20 since they give the set a retail value of $44.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback on how that translates compared to the duos and the blushes. That's super helpful! I cannot remember the last time I hit pan on a blush or highlighter, so for $16 this seems like a good deal! Lol! ;)

    2. Right. I bought this when it was a beauty steal a few years ago and it is very small. It is smaller than a Makeup Forever artist eyeshadow (which is 0.07 oz ). And it's not shimmery at all. If you're into a satin-finish type of highlighter, then it is a good option.. but if you're into a high sheen highlighter - this is NOT the one.

    3. Thanks for that feedback! You had me curious with your comparison so I grabbed the smallest highlighter I own (one of the Becca deluxe minis that came in a Sephora Favorites set) and that mini is 0.085 oz. So it's even smaller than that. I guess if you break it down with the applicator, you could say that you're paying $8 per item, which sure beats $24 for just the highlighter (which seems crazy high for 0.06 oz). Anyway, I appreciate the feedback so much. I'm actually into satin finish highlighters for daytime so this would be a good fit for me, but I think I would only buy it if I combined with the Spackle and full-size eyeliner freebie to maximize savings. I'm on the fence!

    4. I saw it in store yesterday. It was 12.00 in the store. The applicator is very cheap. Its a sponge tip on both sides. FYI, Its not a full size product, more like a deluxe trial size.

  3. Ulta is no longer giving the free Essence Lash & Brow Gel with a $10 purchase. At first they sold out and now it's back as a regular purchase with it's original price.

  4. Hey, I just went to view my Plenti points and found found out they are offering 4 pts. for every dollar (wish I knew these before I just spent 150 bucks there in the last two weeks)!. This a great deal for anyone with a Plenti card and you still earn Ulta points as well! In addition, when I went to Ulta's website thru Plenti there is an 8 hour beauty break 4trials+2 packets of Ahava with any 40 dollar purchase...no idea why I did not get an email from Ulta about this but a great way for me try the Ahava products!
