  1. G, I was so excited when I read Mia Song cleanser. That would make it epic to hear music while you cleanse your face :)

Disappointed that they are not having a deal on brush heads, since I need one after getting a Mia for christmas. Wanted a Foreo Luna for combo skin, but the Mia surprised me in a great way.

Would of liked to see First Aid Beauty and Origins items in the sale. They carry some of my favorite skin care items.

  2. Hey, just a heads up - you listed the wrong price for the Tarte Maracuja oil. It will be $7.50 (reg $15)

  3. Hey G,
The link on Skin Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels takes me to the alchemist eyecream. And the price on the tarte maracuja oil should be $7.50 (reg $15). What are you planning on buying from these deals? Are there any products you have tried and reccomend or don't reccomend from this list?

    1. Lol that's what I get for trying to write/post this as quickly as possible! Thanks so much for letting me know--I just fixed everything. :)

As for what I'm buying, here you go:

PTR Un-Wrinkle Peel Pads (I have used something similar in the past and loved it, so I really want to get these at this price)

Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner (I have used this in the past and really liked it for helping to clear hormonal acne, so I can't resist at this price)

Exuviance SPF 30 Day Repair (I'm always looking for a good daytime moisturizer with SPF of at least 30, and I would never buy this at the regular price so it feels like a good time to try it!)

As for things on this list that I have tried and enjoyed (or didn't), just two things come to mind:

Leader Masks - I reviewed one (link below). If you like sheet masks that contain a lot of essence, this might be a good choice for you. These contains a LOT of extra essence to use on your neck, hands, etc. I enjoyed the one that I reviewed.

Sadly, the other product that I've owned on this list is one that didn't work for me. It's the Tarte Marajuca Oil. I got the 0.5 oz. bottle in a Sephora Favorites set (I think?) and it broke me out pretty badly. I guess that passion fruit oil (aka: maracuja oil) just isn't a good fit for my skin. However, I did end up using it as a cuticle oil and it was nice for that, but in the long run it wasn't really dramatically different than other oils I use for my cuticles.

I hope that helps a little!

    2. Thanks for such a thourough response G, really do appriciate it! That toner seems like something I would enjoy since I love the Pixi Glow Tonic. What brand were the peel pads that you have previously used and liked? Those leaders masks are a good deal, I'll definetly get some to try.

  6. Did you see this Macy's in SD is closing? •Mission Valley Apparel, San Diego, CA

    1. OMG Randi I saw that on the news last night! I know this sounds weird but I'm SUPER sad about that particular location closing. It has a lot of historical relevance to me personally. When I was a kid, it was May Company (before it changed to Robinson's May, and then eventually Macy's), and the children's department used to sell Hello Kitty stuff next to the clothing. I was mesmerized by that Hello Kitty stuff as a little girl (still am!) and I remember my godmother buying me my first Hello Kitty pencils there. I was never happier than when I brought those Hello Kitty pencils to school to show my friends. Anyway, fast forward to the early 90s and I worked at May Company as one of my first jobs (not that location, but I used to wish I could "make it" to that location because it was the best one in SD). And then in the mid-late 90s it was THE place to go (aside from Nordstrom) for makeup because they had more counters than other dept stores in SD.

All that to say that I'm very sad to be losing that part of San Diego history. :(

  7. Thanks, G! Likewise, I am excited to try out a few products that I would otherwise shy away from due to the price tag. These steal days are a great time to try out products at a discount and find out if it will work for my skin. I like the Pixi glow tonic so I think I will pick up a couple bottles of the Mario Badescu glycolic toner. :)
I believe I will also be trying out the Juice Beauty eye cream as well as the Leaders mask which you've recommended before and I ended up just loving!

    1. You're so welcome! I'm SO glad that those Leaders masks are working for you! Yay! And yep, I'm all over that Mario Badescu deal--I think I'll be buying two, if they stay in stock long enough. Lol! ;)

  8. Regarding shipping, during the last beauty steal days, platinum members got shipping free as long as the product for the day is being purchased:).

    1. I remember people complaining last time around that they weren't getting the free shipping unless they spent a certain amount on the Beauty Steal that day. I just can't remember if it was $15 or maybe $10? Anyway, hopefully they don't have that stipulation this time around! :)

  9. Just a head's up -- your first Boots No. 7 link goes to the Peter Thomas Roth item from the day before. I checked, because it was the thing I was most excited to see!

Thanks for all the great deals. Yay, my skincare 50% off!

  10. I definitely got orders with just a Bare Minerals lip gloss and the freebies you kept us aware for $9 shipped. I just checked. The apple cider freebie is finally sold out, do you know of any more freebies? I just placed my first order. I got the Algenist eye cream, both of the sampler sets, and the UD Full Spectrum palette because sale and 5x points. Also, there is a freebie for the Algenist purchase. Nothing was listed at the sale price yet, but it was at the sake price in my cart.
