IT Cosmetics is Coming to Sephora

Well this is exciting news! I just saw this on WWD.com and had to share:
It Cosmetics, one of the strongest selling of the new generation of indies, is amping up its retail firepower with plans to enter Sephora in September, while continuing to stoke its three-year-old business with Sephora’s archrival Ulta Beauty. The move also signals another transformation. “We are launching a collection of pure play skin care for the first time,” said Jamie Kern Lima, chief executive officer and cofounder of the company.
... The first pure-play skin-care product, Confidence in a Cream, was launched in January as part of the core assortment and will be included in the Sephora collection.

Does this mean special Sephora-exclusive IT Cosmetics value sets in our future? Will IT Cosmetics be featured in future Sephora Favorites sets? So many questions! I guess we'll have to wait and see, but for now I'm just so excited by the possibilities. How about you? Thoughts?

  1. For years now, I've watched Jamie on QVC. I've always wanted to try the brand but never got around to it. I heard the brushes are really good but pricey.

    1. This is why the QVC TSVs (Today's Special Value) sets have been so great. I have so many of their products and brushes that mostly came from these sets.

    2. I basically love every IT product I've ever tried, including several brushes. I JUST did a mini review of one of their brush sets (a great value) a few posts back in my Mother's Day gift guide, if you missed it!

  2. I am SO excited for this!! IT Cosmetics is such an underrated brand and I hope launching at Sephora will get them the exposure they deserve! I recently had the opportunity to try their Confidence in a Cream and their new Cleansing Balm and I'm really impressed with both of them so I'm super excited about the skincare line! :)

  4. F-I-N-A-L-L-Y...!!!!! Thanks for sharing this! I have a ton of this brand (mostly thru QVC TSVs)....it will be great to have it available at Sephora...in the end I seem to do the bulk of my beauty buys there. I thought I'd do more Ulta once it opened near my house, but I guess I am a lazy app shopper who loves my Flash shipping, etc....

Good questions you have too...I am pretty excited about this...lol!!

  6. I'm so happy! I adore IT Cosmetics products! I use there CC Cream and illuminating powder foundation every day! The blushes are beautiful as well and their line of brushes? Amazing! I prefer shopping at Seporhs over Ults (where I usually buy their products) so this is great news! For those that haven't tried the line, do! You won't be sorry!

  7. Finally! I absolutely hate the Ulta website (Sephora is just so much better designed!) and I get so many more perks from Sephora (VIB Rouge, /shame). I can finally try IT Cosmetics stuff, like the super-highly rated CC Cream!

  8. Great news! IT cosmetics powder foundation is the only one I have the patience to use. Also, their blushes and eyeshadows are lovely.

  9. I like the sound of this. I tend to prefer Sephora for the rewards and the Flash shipping, and the birthday gift. And frankly they have way better samples with orders and to be scored in-store. Ulta's services and rewards in comparison have always been lackluster to me. Good stuff there, and they have Lipstick Queen, but Sephora does it better.

  10. I was just thinking yesterday about how my one IT brush is hands-down my favorite and I should start replacing some others with IT bushes gradually. Perfect!

  11. I'm super excited about this as I tend to shop at Sephora more than Ulta for some reason. I hope this gets IT Cosmetics more exposure!

  12. I am so excited for this!!! During Black Friday I was able to snag a mini brush set and the CC Gloss for $10 each. I was equally impressed with both. Some products on my wish list for a while includes the Skin But Better CC Cream, Bye Bye Pores Powder, Celebration Foundation, and some more brushes. Will be happy to pick something up at the VIB sale.

  13. Thank goodness. I was just at Ulta today trying to buy some of their products.. most of it was out of stock and they wouldn't give me a sample of anything. I hate Ulta.

  14. I love IT cosmetics and their brushes are incredible! I agree Sephora has better rewards than Ulta where I usually purchase.

    1. Ulta is actually the better deal because you at least get money off for your next purchase. Sephora gives samples and better samples, but hey I'd prefer money off lol.

    2. But the dollars off are not much. 200 points is $6. Big deal

  15. Glad to hear they're coming to Sephora! I've gotten a few things recently from QVC and I love it when they are on Easy Pay! So far I've loved everything!!
