Wonder Woman Beauty Collection Coming to Walgreens this May

Thanks much to readers @makeupjunkieandfangirl on Instagram and Hannah on Facebook for bringing this to my attention the other day!

If you haven't heard yet, there appears to be a Wonder Woman collection coming to Walgreens stores this May. You can view the preview flyer HERE. I spy a beauty book, eyeshadow palette, makeup brushes, Orly nail polishes, makeup bags, and much more. That Strawberry Empower-Mint lip tin looks so cute.

Aside from the nail polishes which look like Orly polishes to me (which would make sense since Walgreens has always offered Orly polishes in their Disney collections), I do not know which company is making these products. Based on the previous Walgreens Disney collections, I'm guessing it will either be e.l.f. or Markwins (owners of Wet n Wild). And I'm guessing that the makeup bags will be made by SOHO Beauty, since they're the ones who have made all of the Walgreens Disney makeup bags.

I'm also guessing that Walgreens will make this collection available online on at Walgreens.com and Drugstore.com at some point. Historically, the Walgreens Disney collections have hit Walgreens stores first, and then a few weeks after they release in-store, the collections are available for purchase online. As soon as I hear more, you'll be the first to know!

Thanks again, @makeupjunkieandfangirl and Hannah, for the hot tips!

  1. Finally something cool! I was getting a little bored with all the Disney princesses. This collection looks neat.
And as a side note, Lynda Carter is and always will be Wonder Woman to me. No offense to the new girl or to all you younger readers, but us "older" readers remember WW from our childhood and Lynda Carter just personified her perfectly! :)

    1. Carol, I had a feeling you'd be down for this one!! :) And I tooootallly agree. Lynda Carter IS Wonder Woman. I just read an interview with her where she said that she was hoping to have a cameo in the new film, playing the mother. But due to scheduling conflicts she couldn't do it. That would have been so awesome, right??

    4. @ Carol G., I totally agree that Lynda Carter is the true Wonder Woman. I was sooooo disappointed with the new "Wonder Woman" She does not live up to my Wonder Woman standards, no offense.

    6. Yes! To me Lynda Carter is Wonder Woman. I'm willing to give the new actress a shot, but Lynda just seemed so perfect for it.

  2. Now this is a collection I can get into. I remember watching the TV show when I was a little kid and still have an anthology of the comics, which I read the hell out of as a kid and still revisit.

    1. Yes!!! Oh how I loved that TV show. The gold cuffs, the spinning...all of it!

    2. My mom got me to watch it as a kid (more like forced, hahaha) so I know exactly what you're talking about. *sings* In her satin tights, fighting for our rights, in the old red, white, and blue!

    3. I had the Wonder Woman Underoos as a kid, and had to make something into a lasso and crown. I also remember tying a sheet around my neck like a cape and spinning around to "turn" into Wonder Woman.

    4. Heidi, did you also make cuffs out of tin foil? I just wished I had gold foil, but silver had to do.

    5. I HAD THE UNDEROOS TOO!!!!! Lol
Also watched the show as a kid...didn't even realize there's a movie, etc. I'm so out of the loop. Excited to see this collection too.

  3. The lip tin is a Lip Smacker tin. They're already being sold on ebay. I would buy one, but I noticed that it's made in China, not in the US like Lip Smackers are. I've also seen Facebook photos of a Liquid Lip Smacker Frozen pack that's also made in China. Lip Smacker confirmed this by replying to one of the posts saying that some of their products are going to be made in China now.

    1. Thanks so much for the tip!! That would make sense about China, since Wet n Wild purchased Lip Smackers a while back. Probably has to do with supply chain, given that WnW products are made in China.
