Let me start by thanking reader @swatchesgalore on Instagram. If it weren't for her posting this pic yesterday raving about the Sally Girl Eyeshadow Connecting Compacts (a favorite of mine for years now), I would have never known about this. After her post, I heard from several of you on my Instagram (thank you so much!!) who said that the entire Sally Girl line has been discontinued.
Because I like to double/triple/quadruple check all of the information I share with you here, I reached out to Sally Beauty this morning and I can now officially confirm that yes, the Sally Girl line has been discontinued. I'm crying cute miniature tears of sadness (to match the trademark Sally Girl cute miniature packaging)!
If you're a fan of this line like I am, you should head over to your local Sally store STAT to see what you can find. Everything is discounted right now (items regularly $0.99 are $0.69, etc.) but selection is obviously going to vary depending on your store. You can also still purchase many Sally Girl products on the Sally website HERE (free shipping on orders $50+, but try code 444872 for $5 off your $25 order--that is almost like free shipping on your $25 order). Please note that certain shades are already out of stock depending on the item, so you'll need to click on each shade to see if it's available. I recommend the Eyeshadow Connecting Compacts and the Baked Shadows (only one shade left online). I also ADORE the Mini Squeeze Tube Lip Gloss in Hoopla (a beautiful sheer red that tastes like chocolate covered strawberries; it was one of the first items I ever reviewed on the blog). And of course the nail polishes are so fun as well. Oh! And while not available online, if you can find the powder blushes at your store, those are awesome!
THE GOOD NEWS: Sally Beauty confirmed to me that they're going to be replacing the Sally Girl line with an all new line called Bitzy. As soon as I receive more information about this upcoming line, you'll be the first to know!
Thanks again to @swatchesgalore for the pic, and to all of you who shared information with me about this yesterday. I truly appreciate it!
