New Macy's-Exclusive MAC Palette Now Available (New Reduced Price)

This is a continuation of my original post about this a few weeks ago. I don't normally blog about new higher-end releases but since MAC recently reduced the prices of the 9x palettes from $40 to $32 and the 15x palettes from $85 to $65, I thought you might want to know about these new, exclusive releases. By the way, these price reductions are not temporary--they are permanent price reductions.

The new Macy's-Exclusive x9 Smoky Metallic Palette is now available on the Macy's site HERE for $32 + free shipping on all beauty orders. This is the palette pictured above. It was not yet available when I wrote my first post, but it is now. Again, the 9x palettes used to be $40 but they are now $32.

I mentioned this in my previous post but just in case you missed it, the new Nordstrom-Exclusive Nordstrom Now 15x palette is now available HERE for $65 plus free shipping and your choice of three free samples with all beauty purchases. Again, the 15x palettes used to be $85 and they are now $65.

  1. I was coming here to tell you about an ebates offer I got. Not sure if its for everyone, but you get a 10.00 gift card on a 25.00 Macy's purchase. When I clicked thru the email, it showed up. I was looking at the sale beauty, the clinique set for 29.00 looks like a great deal too.

    1. I wish I could tell you, but not even the MAC site has them listed. They do have a listing for this palette (you can't buy it on their site though since it's a Macy's exclusive) and the description on the MAC site just says "an exclusive selection of burnished metal shades exclusively at Macy's".

    2. Mac's website lists the colors in the "smoky metallic times nine" palette as including simple sensation, give me fire, black factor, filament, just twigged, carbon, by the silver moon, richly rich and petrol.

    3. And also, the smoky metallic times nine palette is for sale now on the mac website, effective march 11, 2016.

    4. Wait, are we looking at the same listing? I agree that it's been on the MAC website since the 11th, but it's grayed out, meaning you can't buy it from them (when you go into the item listing, there's not even an "add to cart" button) because it's a Macy's exclusive. I also am not seeing the shades listed even in the extended description. Here's the link for the listing that I'm seeing on the MAC website. If you are looking at a different listing that I'm not seeing, can you please share? Thanks!!

    5. G: I went back to look and you are right; I am wrong - sorry, it does not show available on Macs website yet. BUT the colors are listed. Go to your original posting, click on your link that says "shown on macs site HERE" and the palette shows up. There are three small dots under the palette: clck on second dot, another view of the paltte appears, click on third dot and all the colors are shown and names are listed. Thanks again for all you do for us readers!

  3. I ended up buying the MAC 239 shading brush. I love the real MAC brushes, not the ones that have SE( sets) have their name. Those are the cheaper, made in China brushes. The other brushes are usually made in France. I have a MAC brush that I've had since I'm 23 years old and its never worn out. I have amber x9 and I like it. I also bought the 15 pan warm neutral palette for Black Friday and I have not even opened it yet.

  4. I saw these 9 pan palettes at mac stores... The pans are significantly smaller than regular mac shadow pans. And when I swatched them on the back of my hand in store, the shadows in these palette surprisingly had a drier stiffer feel than other shadows in pots. So I do have the feeling that mac somehow stepped down in quality on these smaller palettes that they put on sale. That's sad.

    1. I have the 9 pan in Amber and I like it. Yes, the amount is a lot smaller, but I've been using it everyday for a couple months and I have not hit pan yet.
