(UPDATED) Wet n Wild Limited Edition Spring 2016 Spring into the Wild Collection (with Reader Swatches)

@cosmeticchronicle for Nouveau Cheap
Wet n Wild Limited Edition Spring 2016 Spring into the Wild Collection
(retail: $1.99 - $4.99; prices slightly lower at Harmon as pictured above)

Apologies for not getting this post up sooner--I know it's been spotted at various retailers for a little over a week now! But I'm actually glad that I was running behind on getting this up because I have been receiving some fantastic pics from you over the past several days, which means I'm able to give you a better idea of the overall feel of this collection since I can now show you a variety of pics, including swatches on different skintones. (I also want to apologize to any of you who kindly sent pics and don't see them featured here--I tried to include as many as I could, but it looks like several of you are finding this collection in stores right now!)

The Wet n Wild Limited Edition Spring 2016 Spring into the Wild collection is now popping up at Harmon/Bed Bath & Beyond (note the slightly lower prices at Harmon in the pic above), Walgreens, and I think CVS, Kmart, and Rite Aid as well (please correct me if I'm wrong about those last three retailers).

As you can see in the pic above, kindly shared by @cosmeticchronicle on Instagram, at certain retailers you may find this collection all grouped together in one display.

At other retailers, you may find two separate displays that look like this:

I've been hearing from several of you this week who are super impressed with both the pigmentation and the staying power of these liners.

Wet n Wild Spring 2015 nail colors vs. Wet n Wild Spring 2015 nail colors

And thank you to my pal @macah0lick on Instagram for kindly sharing this comparison of the Spring 2016 polishes and the Spring 2015 Silver Lake collection polishes. VERY helpful, right? I mentioned in my original post (above) that I thought the 2016 shades looked a lot like the 2015 shades, but that's clearly not the case (with the exception of the blue shade, which is similar to the 2015 blue).

In @macah0lick's pic above:
  • Kiss My Mints (Spring 2016) vs. Tree Hugger (Spring 2015)
  • Love Fest (Spring 2016) vs. Stream of Consciousness (Spring 2015)
  • Lay Out Lavender (Spring 2016) vs. Reject the Mainstream (Spring 2015)
  • Breeze on By (Spring 2016) vs. Wear Skinny Jeans (Spring 2015)

Also be sure to check out @macah0lick's nail swatch comparisons in her YouTube video HERE.

Have you spotted this collection in your area yet? If so, where did you find it? If you're looking for this collection, hopefully you'll find it this week while there are all of those WnW sales and coupons

PS: Would any of you like to see a sightings map for this collection? If so, please comment below and let me know!

Thanks so very much to readers @cosmeticchronicle, @teralissa, Anoninnyc, @EmilysVanity, Jennifer, @glowithme815, @swatchesgalore, @cookiedulce5, @demisiriusly, and @macah0lick for the fantastic pics and swatches. I truly appreciate it!

    1. Agreed. Underwhelming. I guess I'll have to act like it's a different season.

  3. I found it at Walgreens in Santa Clarita, CA. I bought the Breeze on By nail polish for 1.00 after a coupon. Going to use it for my next pedi. I have zero interest in any of the eyeshadows or eyeliners. I'm a brown kinda gal.

  5. Temptalia has all the highlighters swatched and rated. Hope this means she'll be doing more WnW!

  6. If I don't find these this week a sightings map would be great! I want all the polishes for sure, iffy on the highlighters, they look really metallic to me, more than I personally like, anyway. Pretty collection overall though!

    1. Just so you know, they aren't too metallic. I bought the white one and I love it. It's definitely something I am using for an everyday highlight, not an in-your-face Becca/The Balm/etc. highlight. The pigment level is medium and not too powdery. I've heard the white one is the best quality - I already have a pink and gold highlighters, so I didn't pick those up. Hope that helps!

  7. I have seen this collection at a couple Walgreens in the Bay Area, CA. Right next to the new Jordana liquid lipsticks and liquid eyeshadows display. I got the pastel blue eyeliner. I've only swatched it so far but it appears to have a mostly matte finish which is what I was hoping for! I resisted getting the highlight powders, I just have too many. I was happy to see the WnW Fergie collection highlighters were not discontinued, just repackaged!!! - although I noticed the ingredients have changed slightly and I felt like the original was smoother/silkier when I compared it to the newer formula! Still awesome though. Hollywood Boulevard (now called Boozy Brunch) was my HG, even favored over my high-end highlighters like Becca and Laura Gellar! I just got the pink shade (I'll Have A Cosmo) in the new packaging since I had wanted to try that one for a long time and I love that one too!! Also I recently noticed the label says they can be used wet/dry.

    1. Hi, I live in the Bay Area, CA and I'm desperately trying to find this collection. If you could tell me the locations of where you found them (the nail polishes, specifically), I would greatly appreciate it. If you can't, I understand. Thanks in advance!

    2. I live in San Carlos, CA and picked up both eyeshadow trios(one of each was left being that there is only 2 of each in the display) and a green and purple nail polish. At least one of each polish is still there, one pink liquid liner,(all others gone) all shades of the highlighters and the tattoos. I hope this helps. I find that if my Walgreens has it, most of the ones along the Peninsula have them too at least.

    3. I actually live right next to San Carlos! What's odd is that I went to the Walgreens in San Carlos (the one next to Trader Joe's, right?) on Tuesday, yesterday, around 12pm and I didn't see any hint of the Spring Collection. I looked near the front of the store, where there were other displays of new makeup arrivals from different brands. I found one Wet n Wild display but it was for their regular liquid liners (not from their spring collection). I also looked at the Wet n Wild section in the isle, but I didn't see anything there either. I'm definitely checking again, though. Thanks for the heads up!

  14. I couldn't believe it but I found it at Walgreen's! I bought two highlights the cool pink and warm pink and the blue and white liners. The white is very white and did not budge on me even after Spin class. The blue is so pretty and matches my eye color. I didn't get the shadows as there was only one left. The polish looks exactly like Silver Lake. I didn't buy any. I will be very very surprised if they are different! I am happy with all I got!!!!

  16. i purchased the light blue liquid eyeliner and the lavender/blue toned highlighter at a walgreens (my walgreen's only had the smaller display with the highlighters, liner and 2 eyeshadows). the highlighter is so pretty, has a slight lilac tone and i'm about a NC25 in MAC but it's SO pretty on! the light blue eyeliner is beautiful! it's almost a periwinkle color.

  21. A huge shout out & thank you to all the people who shared their swatches. Enjoy your products ladies & gents, wear them in good health & happiness. I know a lot of people would love to get their hands on quite a few pieces of this collection, myself included.

  22. I think I might have to get that New Romantics eyeshadow palette... I think the polish colors are very cute, but i already have shades close to them, so will pass.

And FYI, G, I love this post! I really enjoy posts about the more accessible (cheap + widely available) make-up.

  23. I bought all the shadows and highlighters... I was swatching the shadows last night and texture-wise they feel MUCH better than the ones they released over the holidays! And pretty pigmented too...I'll most likely use them along with other shadows, not just by themselves...

  24. I found the polish at Walgreens. I bought the blue and lavender. the lavender has a nice formula and the blue is a good color - a bit darker than Skinny Jeans, but pretty sheer, I think you may need three coats to get that one opaque.

  25. I just picked up both of the eyeshadow 3 pans at a local Walgreens (Seattle area). Though on sale, I resisted getting the Maybelline Smokes palette, and after reading reviews I'm glad I did. Didn't get the highlighter, already have too much of that! Pretty, though. And I don't use liquid liner, so skipped that. Except for one shade out of the six, they are all glitter bombs, better as an accent color. Haven't had a chance to try on my eyes yet.

  26. It must be nice living in the present. My CVS just put out the Venice Beach 8pan palettes. :/ *hold me*

  30. I am thrilled to find some of these items as Summer end's is nearing and I thought they'll be gone. Found on Right Aid (in Centinela Avenue where the Union Bank and Vons, etc. shopping center is in L.A.) two of the highlighters Sun Ceremony and Dessert Explorations. They are in a separate isle then the regular WetnWill display by the door with other new products and under the perfume area. Would love to find also Where the Dreamers go they go in very light and beautiful! Also found at this Rite Aid both eyeshadows To Indio I go-go and The New Romantics I find them beautiful! Can be used along as eyeshadow or brow highlighter. I'm very pale/fair like the two first shades of foundation and these colors are great sort of mermaid dreamy look. Two weeks ago found at CVS on La Cienega Blvd. large shopping center (there's a Kaiser optometry office there next to the CVS) found there the Boozy Brunch and I'll have a Cosmo highlighters now these do pack a punch! Lovely! Next will be the autum release hunt!
