New Tarte Value Sets at Sephora and Ulta (And a New Sephora Freebie)

I'm guessing you've probably heard the news by now but just in case, Tarte has launched some new lines. The Rainforest of the Sea collection is a Sephora-exclusive, and the Double Duty Beauty collection is an Ulta-exclusive.

Right now, the Sephora-exclusive Rainforest of the Sea Collection is available for preview HERE, and it looks like VIB Rouge and VIB members will have first access (I am a VIB and the listings aren't available for purchase for me yet--they show as "coming soon"). Per the Sephora website, the collection will be available for all customers online on February 29 and in stores on March 14.

Thanks to reader Isu Hapz for the tip that within the Sephora-exclusive Rainforest of the Sea collection, there are a few value sets! Here's a look:

NEW SEPHORA FREEBIE:

Thanks also to reader Isu Hapz for the tip that the freebie for code BOLDLIP (free with any $25+ purchase), which changes every Thursday, is now a deluxe Buxom Big & Sexy™ Bold Gel Lipstick deluxe sample in Pink Decoy. As of the time of this post, the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick option is still available as well, but the overlap of the previous week's freebie and the new week's freebie only seems to last a few days before the new freebie is the only option.

Also, don't forget that many of the Sephora Black Friday $10 sets are still available. Full list HERE.

Over at Ulta:

As I mentioned at the top of this post, the new Rainforest of the Sea collection is a Sephora-exclusive, and Ulta has their own new and exclusive collection from Tarte called Double Duty Beauty. You can preview the Ulta-exclusive Tarte Double Duty Beauty collection HERE (as of the time of this post, these products are not yet available for purchase).

While I was checking out the new Double Duty Beauty collection, I noticed that there was a new Tarte value set on the Ulta site (pictured above). This is not part of the Double Duty Beauty line, but I still wanted to bring it to your attention:

  2. I'm VIB Rouge and it still says "Coming Soon" for me as well. I understand wanting to get people hyped over something but come on . . . stop teasing us, Sephora! They're steadily losing my admiration with stunts like this.

    1. I agree. I tried ordering several of the new Rainforest products only to be disappointed that they are "coming soon". I put my email address in and am waiting to hear back but it seems weird that they wouldn't have the product in stock for the launch date. (I am VIB so I do qualify).

  3. I'm guessing that folks have also seen that Tarte lipsurgence are 50% off at Ulta for the next three days, online only. :)

  4. The Sephora sets say VIB Rouge only :(

  5. Ebates Currently has Sephora listed at 8% today too :)

  6. The name "Rainforest of the Sea" is absurd. Rainforests only exist on land.

  7. I hate the name too! But the price is what is off to me: $9 for both of the lippies? That's incredibly low.

"Rainforest of the Sea"...isn't that where Charlie of the Sea lived (Google it if you're young)?

  8. I want both the skin care kit and the lippie kit.

That dark nude looks like it would be perfect for my skin tone.

I wish the access started today...I'm terribly inpatient.

  9. Hi! I'm new to posting but I've been reading the blog for a loooong time...anyways, quick question for you ladies: does anyone know of any good deals on Laura Mercier? Do they ever run promo codes/any legitimate sites (not eBay) selling it with any discount? Particularly the Silk Creme moisturizing foundation. Thanks! :)

  11. Well, I got the email at 12:33 and when I tried to buy it at 2:30, it was out of stock. I did get the lipsticks though and I used code FRSERUM for a Dr. Gross ferulic acid and retinol serum.

  12. Got my lipsticks today. Soooo tiny!!

  13. They broke so easily and the color is cabana boy not beach bum. I wished I had kept mine or ordered a new one after it broke :( #regret
