Free Shipping at e.l.f. When You Order Three of The New Limited Edition Duo Stix ($3 Each)

For the last few months, I've been trying to pin point exactly when the trend of "double-ended" products in the beauty world became such a craze again. When exactly did it come back (because believe me, these types of products have been around for looooong time) and which brand was the first to reignite the current 2-in-1 frenzy? It feels like every single brand from drugstore to high-end has been offering new double-ended pencils and twist-up sticks to us this spring (lip colors, eye colors, contouring, highlighting, etc.).

So if this is your jam, you have plenty of new goodies from which to choose. If this isn't your jam, then just hold on because like all other trends, this one will eventually fall out of vogue (again) due to market saturation, and some other trend will take its place. Hashtag: thecycleoflife.

But I digress...

e.l.f. has just released their new limited edition Duo Stix  HERE. These double-ended pencils retail for $3 each and are available in three different formulations:
  • Sculpt & Glow Duo Stix (three shades)
  • Lip & Cheek Duo Stix (three shades)
  • Shadow & Liner Duo Stix (three shades)

In honor of this new release, e.l.f. is also offering free shipping when your purchase three Duo Stix:

1. Add 3 or more Duo Stix products to cart, creating a minimum bag value of $9.
2. Shipping discount will be reflected at checkout.
3. Offer valid online only.
4. Offer valid for a limited time only.

All offers are valid while supplies last. e.l.f. Cosmetics reserves the right to substitute any product at its discretion and the right to limit quantities and discounts without notice. Not valid for bulk orders. Discounts and coupons are not applicable to Play Beautifully subscription or gift card purchases. Only one coupon code may be applied per order. Free or discounted shipping offers are based on $4.95 Standard US Shipping, Canadian orders will receive $4.95 or other applicable discount off the $14.95 Canadian Standard Shipping cost.

Are you a 2-in-1, double duty, double-ended beauty product kind of person? If so, are you happy that this trend is back again?

  2. I do like these types of products. I remember back in the 80s having dual-ended eyeliners. I think they were from Wet n Wild or Artmatic. Maybe Cover Girl, too. As you said, the cycle of life. It's fun to see things from my youth become popular again (when are the clangy, fluorescent bangles coming back).

    1. I actually have some of my mom's old acrylic bangles from when she was in college (looooong time ago). I wear them now!

  3. I'm confused how you're supposed to use the cheek/lip duo on your cheeks? The pencil seems very awkward for a cheek application.

  5. ive never been the biggest fan of double ended products, especially brushes. im an out of sight, out of mind person, so sticking one end in a cup means i will almost definitely forget about it. i have been meaning to try nudestix. i remember i always thought the mark sticks were so cool because they were interchangeable!! does anyone remember mark, are they still around???

    1. I do! I was a rep for awhile, for the 20% discount mostly lol! First they got absorbed by Avon and carried stuff in their catalogs etc., then apparently went out of business entirely because they aren't around and haven't for awhile. Not sure why, one day I went to log in and poof, gone. They probably sent some notice about this I obviously missed. Which is a bummmer, they had a lot of good stuff at reasonable prices.

    2. mark is still around! I follow them on Instagram and they still have a page on the Avon website below (makeup, fragrance, etc.):

  6. I dislike dual ended pencils because I have a tough enough time keeping the caps on one side, much less two (looking at you, UD Naked eyeliners!)
