Sneak Peek: BH Cosmetics Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale Collection Coming this Spring

Did you hear the news? In addition to YouTube content creator collabs, BH Cosmetics is moving into celebrity collabs. Last week BH Cosmetics announced that the new Iluminate makeup line by Ashley Tisdale will launch in Spring 2016. They have even created a website HERE where you can sign up for updates.

On that website, there is a link to view various Instagram posts about this new collection, and here's one that Allure Magazine posted two days ago:

Ashley Tisdale herself posted this pic of her holding some of these new products HERE on her Instagram page, and she mentioned in her caption that you can read more about this collection on her website HERE (includes product images and info).

The entire collection contains:

Cheek-and-Lip Tints (6 shades)
Lip Glosses (6 shades)
Day & Night Eyeshadow & Blush Palettes (two palettes)

Again, you can view product images of everything HERE. No word yet on pricing.

What do you think of this collab so far? Are you an Ashley Tisdale fan? I'm old and I actually never saw High School Musical, but I do remember her from her cameo on Sons of Anarchy! If you watched SoA and you're fuzzy about her role, she was an escort who worked for Nero. There are pics here.

    1. Lol! That's why I put a hyperlink in her name to her IMDB. ;) #oldpeopleproblems

    2. She was from teenage years, but she's kind of become irrelevant these days. She was famous 10 years ago, now girls around my age are into the Kylie Jenner craze.

    3. I hope that BH Cosmetics makes these paraben free. Since not all their eye shadows are. More in line with Carli Bybel eye shadow set which is paraben free. Its just that my eyes are sensitive. If they're not paraben free my eyes will itch and water and I can't wear.

  2. The palette looks very similar to the layout of the Lorac Paradise palette.

  3. Since BH Cosmetics collaborates mostly with youtubers, I thought Ashley Tisdale was a youtuber as well. >_< I'm getting too old to keep up with pop culture! =/

    1. Ashley Tisdale isn't even that relevant anymore, she was famous for High School Musical, which was like 10 years ago. I'm wondering why they are even doing this collab. But I guess if youtube collabs work, then die hard Ashley Tisdale fans will make this collab work too.

  5. Uggggh. Could we not bring up 'escorts' . So over such an oversexualized society and did not expect to read a line about hookers, whores or prostitututes when looking up makeup. There's no slut shaming here..sluts should be ashamed.

    1. My apologies. I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone. I was merely describing her role on the TV show in case anyone who couldn't remember her wanted to know which character she played.

    2. Don't apologize, letting your viewers know what role an actress played is appropriate. I didn't even pick up on the mention of a sex worker until the comment section, going on about sluts whores hookers and shame and is making it weird not you. Christy, if you want a G rated experience I would not recommend the Internet.

    3. Thanks, Alice. I appreciate that. You're right--I didn't use any of those words in my description, and I thought "escort" was appropriate since that is what she was in the fictional world of the television show. I recall when Julia Roberts was "America's Sweetheart" and people used the term "hooker with a heart of gold" constantly to describe her role in Pretty Woman. Escort seems pretty mild by comparison.

Not that any of this matters...I just want to be clear that I meant no offense.

  9. If its as awesome as the Carli Bybel Palette I'll totally get it. I'm either the right age or too old for High School Musical... lol people in my class (at the time) loved it but I was just like "umm... you can't make me watch this." Lol. It looks promising!

  10. I hope BH Cosmetics makes these paraben free like Carli Bybel's shadow set. I can't wear them otherwise.

They r trying to help these girls be some of the next gen of more model like in these kind of roles is like life moves on and here comes the next gen. My kids watched the shoes they were in. My kids r grown also. My baby just turned 16 :(
