The Lipstick League - Week of 11.2.15

The Lipstick League Question of the Week

What are some of your must-haves (so far) from the Holiday 2015 collections?

G's answer: My own personal must-have is probably going to come as no shock to many of you, since I think it's on a lot of people's must-have lists this holiday season. It's the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Palette, which drops on November 22nd. Just in time for b-day in December (hint hint to all family and friends who may be reading this!).

  1. My must have holiday sets are the All in One Palette from Profusion and all four of the LA Colors eyeshadow palettes they released for the holidays.

  3. Can you put the question before the jump on the homepage so we can see it before clicking on the post?

    1. I'm sorry about that Beth, but this is a style change I implemented with the new blog redesign. For a much cleaner look, I no longer put ANY text before the jump break (not just on this post, but all posts). I hope you don't mind the extra click, but I need to keep it this way for consistency. Just trying to make the overall appearance of the blog as clean and streamlined as possible. Thanks for your understanding! :)

  4. I'm tempted by the Anastasia Self-Made eye shadow palette but can hopefully control myself until early December, when Too Faced will have its third Chocolate Bar eye shadow palette (which, oddly, isn't part of its holiday releases but its spring 2016 line). Would also like the Too Faced Love Flush six-blush palette they're releasing eventually.

    1. Sorry for the extra click, Dawn. Hopefully you understand where i'm coming from in terms of the site design (as explained above). Just trying to keep things as clean and streamlined as possible with the new blog redesign. I'm hoping that the overall efficiency and cleanliness of the new blog design will make up for the extra click! :)

  8. I'm definitely digging the new Anastasia palette, as well as theBalm's "The Manizer Sisters" mini palette from Kohl's. It seems like the perfect way to try out their famous highlighters!

  9. I really want the Lorac Mega Pro 2, because I don't own any Lorac palettes. But, I am having a really hard time decided whether to pick it up, or wait for Gwen Stefani. I can't justify both on my budget. Ugh. Leaning toward Lorac, as the only thing that looks super special about the Gwen Stefani palette is the name.
