The Lipstick League Question of the Week

What product are you most thankful for right now?

G's answer: Recently I was at a local Target and the beauty advisor for Boots struck up a conversation with me--she's awesome and I have actually spoken with her a few times. Anyway, she noticed that the area under my eyes looked a bit drier than usual (something I thought my glasses were hiding, but apparently not!) and she suggested a Boots product that may help add some hydration. I purchased it that day and I have been truly thankful for it ever since. It's called Boots No 7 Youthful Eye Serum, and I just use a tiny dot under eye each both morning and night. It has really saved my undereye area during this wacky weather we've been having in San Diego lately (one day it's in the upper 50s, the next it's in the low 90s). Plus, it doesn't make my eyeliner or mascara smudge during the day, which is something that really bugs me about some other eye creams/serums that I own.

  1. I'm loving the Simple micellular water. I can't believe how much makeup is left on my face after I wash it with a washcloth and the peter thomas roth rose cleansing gel( from last years Sephora skin care sampler bag).

  2. I'm happy with my Nuance Salma Hayek Renewed Radiance Dark Spot Corrector. I bought it on sale a month or so ago and have been using it every night on dark spots. They're not gone, but they're less noticeable.

  3. Lately I'm loving my Drunk Elephant JuJu bar from Sephora. I'd been eyeing this baby for a while but hadnt plucked up the courage to spend $30 on a bar of soap but I finally did and I love it. Just enough exfoliation without me feeling raw after and the clay really helps clear my pores. IMO it was more than worth 30 bucks!
