New e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator flavors: Sweet Cherry, Mint Maniac
(retail: $3 each)

If you love the original e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator, then I have exciting news for you today! Thanks so much to longtime reader Heather (@aitch77 on Twitter) for letting me know that e.l.f. has just released two new Lip Exfoliator flavors: Sweet Cherry and Mint Maniac. Both are available for purchase now on the e.l.f. website, in addition to the original version.

I hope these start to pop up at Target, Walmart, CVS, Kmart, etc. soon. I think I kind of need to try both. How about you?

Thanks again, Heather, for the awesome tip!

  2. This is an excellent product. Less messy than a loose sugar scrub. Works well for winter flakey lips. I give these away as gifts because everyone should have one.

  4. The original one feels like rubbing sandpaper on my lips. Ouch

    1. Same here. I was going to ask if anyone else had the same experience. I use an Avon lip exfoliater in a lipstick style and it is very easy to use, glides on well and still does it's job without being horribly, painfully gritty.

    2. I agree. It does hurt. Maybe I'm using it wrong. idk

    3. Generally, I recommend applying a thin layer of lip balm and then running the tube over your lips. It's not ideal, but for the price, I'm happy to use a little lip balm underneath.

  5. I like the original one so far. Less of a mess and quick to use. It can be a bit rough so I like to wet my lips first or put a light layer of lip balm before exfoliating.

But the bullet of my tube has been really wobbly unlike my first one. I even left it in my fridge for hours, but it still is unstable. :/

    1. I agree I live to use and then my Pumpkin Pie Chapstick. That I hit for 25 cents a tube at my Ealmart. I couldn't believe the price. Cake batter that is a perm one is Greag also. My teen son loves that one.

    2. I watched a video just last nite of a lot o Elfs new products from Emilynoel. And so many Great things they have come out with. She had a lot of great reviews on new products. I can't wait to be able to place an order as soon as possible. I already love a lot of Elfs products. But she had a lot of good things to say about the products. I really noticed the new lip balms and how much color they have to them. I want them all and they just added new ones. Way to go Elf. So excited to add a lot more of Elf to my collection.

  7. I actually have multiples of the original. I keep one at home and one at work. Now I can buy a flavoured one to keep in my bag! Can't wait. For the price, it's the best exfoliator I've found

  9. I'll probably get both of these when I make my annual large makeup order at tax time.

  10. I find that a muslin cloth (I use the facial cleansing ones from Liz Earle) works much better than any lip scrub! (And better than most facial scrubs too. Although I do like the Dermalogica microfoliant.)

  12. Definitely hoping these end up on the shelves where elf is available! I like the results of the original, but I need to put lip balm on FIRST before I use it (and again when done) because it's so rough and dry. Unless I got a dud?

  13. No, I'm the same way. Put on a layer of lip balm, scrub, put on another layer of lip balm (preferably a more intense one)

  15. The cool thing is the bottom pops out with force on the new ones and is a matching lip balm.
