Spotted: NEW (Permanent) Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Lipgloss Collection

From what I can tell, the new Rimmel Oh My Gloss! lipgloss line (permanent, not limited edition) has been available in the UK since March of this year. The US averages a 3-6 month lag-time behind the UK when it comes to new Rimmel products, but the Oh My Gloss! collection has finally landed!

I spotted this collection at Target the other day and as you're going to see, the display says "Only at Target." I know that "exclusive" products don't always turn out to be exclusive to one retailer despite what displays may say, or sometimes products start out exclusive to one retailer and then have wider distribution later. So this Target exclusivity could change (a kind reader on Instagram mentioned that these are only exclusive to Target until January, but I can't 100% confirm that since I haven't heard that directly from Rimmel).

So let's take a look!

Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Lipglosses with Argan Oil
(retail: $5.49 each at Target; 17 shades)

Keep reading for a closer look...

There are 17 shades in this display (the UK has 15 shades; more on that in a moment):

Left to right pictured above:

100 Love Bug (US-exclusive)
110 Keep A Secret
120 Non Stop Glamour
130 Purrr...Glossy Cat
140 Glossip Girl
150 Glossaholic
160 Stay My Rose
180 Twinkle Twinkle
190 Pin Up (US-exclusive)

Left to right pictured above:

260 My Eternity
330 Snog
340 Captivate Me
500 Ooh La La
520 Reunited (US exclusive)*
530 Go Gloss Or Go Home
730 Cosmic
800 Crystal Clear

*I believe that 100 Love Bug and 190 Pin Up are exclusive to the US and not available in the UK. However, the UK has a shade called Rebel Red which is not included in our US display above. I suspect that Rebel Red = US shade 520 Reunited, since Reunited is not listed on the Rimmel UK website

I purchased 500 Ooh La La (such an appropriate name, since I think I literally said "Ooh la la!" when I saw it). I am testing it now and will review it for you soon--it's a sheer red with a jelly finish and no sparkle or shimmer (you know I'm a sucker for sheer reds!). I didn't spend a whole lot of time looking at each shade in this display, but I did notice that quite a few were shimmery/sparkly and I kind of had to hunt for shades that didn't contain any shimmer/sparkle.

Also, I want to mention that these tubes are not safety-sealed, HOWEVER, they have the same opening as those L'Oreal glosses I reviewed a while back, which indicate if the applicator has been removed from the tube (click here if you don't know what I'm talking about).

Have you seen this new gloss line from Rimmel in your area yet? Thoughts?

    1. They did! I still have some left (it's the Vinyl Gloss line) and I'm so glad they kept the color permanent, it's my favorite.

  2. I noticed few of the shades have the same name as some of the stay glossy shades: non stop glamour, my enternity, stay my rose, captivate me, and crystal clear. I wonder if stay glossy line will be replaced with oh my gloss.
