The Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales (7/5 - 7/11)

The Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sale Wrap-Up was recently featured in All You Magazine's article, "10 Smart Ways to Save Money on Makeup." What an honor! (Special thanks to reader @moonlightelegie for the tip!)

Keep reading for your weekly wrap-up of drugstore beauty sales and more...

Note: If you are new to drugstore sales and you are not sure how "BOGO1/2OFF" sales work, please take a moment to click here.

Some of the coupons listed below may go nicely with this week's sales, so take a moment to match them up accordingly.

Ulta Highlights: The following deals are valid in-store and online now through 7/25: select salon brand haircare 1 liter bottles on sale for $12.99, $15.99 or $21.99 depending on the brand (Pureology is 15% off). You also get a free pump with any 1 liter purchase. BOGOFREE all Japonesque cosmetic brushes, BOGO1/2OFF all NYX eye and face cosmetics, B2G1FREE all eos lip balms and all Ulta brand cosmetics on sale (nail products $2, lip products $3, eye products $4, face products $5). Don't forget that you can use this $3.50 off $10 purchase coupon in-store or online with any of these deals.

CVS shoppers: There are some nice Extra Bucks deals this week on Physicians Formula, NYX, L'Oreal, etc. (see below for details). Also, if you are a fan of Wet n Wild Max Volume Mascara, this week it's on sale for $3.99 and when you buy 1, you get $2 back in Extra Bucks (limit 1 on that offer). And just a reminder: the CVS Beauty Clearance Sale is still going on. Check out the master list of everything that's been spotted so far.

Rite Aid shoppers: This week there are a few "buy XX get XX points" deals for Physicians Formula and and Wet n Wild (details below). I want to remind you that 100 points = $1 in savings when you redeem your points, so be sure to take that into account when you see the deals below. Rite Aid recently tweeted me THIS LINK to some beauty coupons that change weekly; try to check that link every time you view this post for new offers (some of these go quickly).

Walgreens shoppers: This week select Wet n Wild cosmetics are BOGO1/2OFF (you can click here to see which products are part of this sale). Also, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes are 2/$4 this week. I know this isn't a deal for some of us (in my area, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wears are $1.99 regularly at other retailers) but if you live in an area where these are normally more than $1.99, this is a nice time to stock up. The July Coupon Book is now available (free in stores) and there are three L'Oreal coupons in particular that will go nicely with this week's L'Oreal BOGO1/2OFF sale. Click HERE for a list of the coupons in this month's book. Don't forget that you can use those coupons on clearance items and also stack them with any manufacturer's coupons you may have, for even more savings.

The following sale info has been obtained from national circulars. I do my best to recap sales that are happening in ALL regions of the United States, but certain sales vary from region to region. Also, you may live in an area that does not run national sales. If you do not see these sales in your area, check with your local store manager for more details.

Did I miss any hot beauty deals this week? If so, please leave a comment below and fill us in (and thanks in advance!)

  1. Just wanted to let you know the owner of Burts Bees died....he was older but still thought you might want to know!

    1. Thank you. I saw that yesterday...very sad!

  2. All of the retailers in my area have raised the price of the Xtreme Wear polishes to 2.48 (walmart) or above, Walgreens is 2.69 regular now, online their store shows a price of 2.99 each. So if they are in your area at 1.99 still, you might want to stock up on your favorites

    1. Oh wow! I swear I just saw them at Rite Aid recently for $1.99...unless I was imagining things (very possible!). I'll have to check again. Thanks!!

  3. I bought Physician's Formula Bronze Booster Airbrushing Veil at Riteaid this week at 15.95, qualifying me for $7 in Plenti points. The one I bought was from the dedicated Bronze Booster display among the new things, that include a $10 rebate. After the Plenti points and the rebate, I'll have made $1 for buying this priced l product. Only one rebate can be used per household (except the limit is 2 in RI), and it only applies to the product it was attached to - per the details on the rebate slip.

  4. Just went to Walgreens and Real Techniques was BOGO 1/2 off

  5. I wish we had a Rite aid here. I'm always drooling over the sales. I have the best cosmetic counter lady at Walgreens. She is all about coupons. We have got to know each other a little and I so t get to go I. As much as I would like to. But sure that the same for all when it comes to cosmetic shopping. She pulls out any coupons she has. She a big binder full. She always alerts me to what she has tried and likes and any LE edition products I look interested in. She even told me her days off. So I go I. When she working. She has a lot of I do too on products and new lines that just came I. There. She will save anything for me till I get in. I could only hope there r great ladies that this everywhere. Just need to give a shout a shout out to my walgreens. Also congrats on the being recognized. U deserve it.

  6. Hey, G! I just wanted to ask you a quick question. I know that CVS has expanded their ELF line, but yesterday I went to two CVS's and one of them had cleared out the NYC display completely, and the other one I went to seems to have replaced the NYC display with ELF! Is NYC being fazed out? I sure hope not... Do you know anything about this?

    1. I'm actually doing a blog post about this right now--will be up in a moment. Thank you!! :D
