The Burt's Bees Summer 2015 Grab Bag Is Here

I've been covering the Burt's Bees Summer and Holiday Grab Bags for years now here on the blog, and we've seen some nice one and some "meh" ones over the years. I"ll leave it up to you to decide if this one's worthy of a purchase:

The Burt's Bees Summer Medley Tin retails for $20 on the Burt's Bees website. The lip products and the After Sun Soother are full-size, while the cleansing cream, towelettes, and ointment are travel-size. You also get a collector's tin, bath pouf, and coin purse. Shipping is $6 unless you order $49+, in which case it's free.

So let's hear it...what do you think of the Summer 2015 grab bag? Is it worthy of your purchase this time around? I do find it interesting that they're calling this a Grab Bag (well that's what it said in the subject line of the email), because usually the grab bags are "mystery bags" where you don't know what you'll get. Do you prefer to know in advance or do you like the surprise?

  1. Knowing in advance allows the consumer to make an informed decision. I think these are fun, but I am not a Burt's Bees girl. I need to read more reviews so I can be swayed.

  2. It's been YEARS since I have liked or used any of their products. Since they were sold a few years ago, I have no interest in using their products.

  3. I like to be surprised like with the monthly subscription boxes, however if I am spending more that $10 bucks I want to know what I am getting. I don't do much with Burt's Bees but I think if I saw this in a store I may purchase it. Doesn't feel special enough for an online purchase.

  4. I WILL say that I thoroughly enjoy the After Sun Smoother that comes in this pack as a cool down after a long hot day in the sun. That lotion plus air conditioning (or a fan's breeze) is heaven. And the Lemon Butter cuticle creme is a staple in my manicure caboodle. Mainly it's the mint-flavored lippies I have trouble finishing because I find the scent too distracting, and I have been working through the same bottle of Apricot baby oil for years. I'm just rarely in the mood for the scent or the heavy texture. It admittedly leaves the skin baby soft though. And I love the packaging (RIP Burt). Maybe I AM a Burt's Bees girl after all.

  5. Thanks for posting the contents. Not for $20!
