If you love flower glitter toppers and fun lip products, here's something you may want to put on your radar:

Just a few of the new seasonal beauty products now at Walmart for Summer 2015

I have a TON of photos to share with you today (there's much more than what you see above) of some new nail and lip sets now popping up in the seasonal department of Walmart. Reader Callie spotted these sets this week at her local Walmart and was nice enough to share lots of pics with us.

More pics, after the jump...

Before I get to the pics, these sets are made for Walmart by the company Almar Sales, whose specialty seems to be flavored cosmetics, nail polish and accessories "for girls and tweens." If you've ever seen those Double Bubble, Nerds, Laffy Taffy, Fun-Dip or Nestle flavored lip balms and glosses, those are made by Almar Sales as well.

First up, the flower glitter toppers:

3 PK Chunky Nail Polish Set
(retail: $3, 0.25 oz per bottle)

There are a total of 12 flower glitter toppers (the first three are above; the rest are below). These polishes all seem to contain a combination of matte flower glitter, bar glitter and hex glitter in a clear base.

Next to a Zoya bottle, for perspective

Callie also provided some close-ups of one of the flower glitters she purchased:

And here's what the back of the sets looks like:

Made in China

I ws surprised to see that these are not only 3-free, but also 5-free (no dibutyl phthalate, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin or camphor).

Up next, more polish sets:

I don't think I've ever seen glitter combos quite like this before. These appear to contain matte diamond glitter, bar glitter, small hex gliter and metallic micro-glitter (in a clear base). I enlarged Callie's pic for a closer look:

PLEASE NOTE:

5 PK Scented Nail Polish Set
(retail: $5, 0.41 oz per bottle)

This set contains water-based polishes (the rest of the polishes above are traditional). See ingredients:

Top of one of the "cones"

And last but not least, lip sets:

5 PC Swirl Lip Gloss Set
(retail: $5)

The gloss is the "ice cream" part of the cone; the colors are swirled.

7 PC Lip Balm Set
(retail: $5)

Flavors:
(Tubes) Bubblegum Cupcake, Strawberry Cupcake, Lemon Cupcake
(Pots) Cherry Cupcake, Vanilla Cupcake
(Tub) Red Velvet Cupcake
(Small Tube) flavor unknown (I'm guessing it's chocolate, caramel, chocolate chip or s'mores)

5 PK Mega Lip Shimmer Set
(retail: $5)

These of course look like Baby Lips (actually more like the Rimmel Keep Calm Balms, to me) but I have no idea how tinted these are, or if there's a visible tint at all. The flavors are Cherry Vanilla, Blueberry Muffin, Orange Sorbet, Mixed Berries, Green Apple

Have you spotted these new seasonal sets at your local Walmart lately? Again, Callie found them in the seasonal section of her Walmart, not the beauty section.

Thanks again, Callie, for all of the great pics and info. I really appreciate it!

  1. Oh, those nail polishes are cute. Sadly I never get to Walmart much.

  2. Back to Walmart I go. They may be small but the glitters are awesome. I love how mainstream is heading toward indie types of glitter polishes.

    1. I didn't realize how blurry that picture was! It is multi-colored hearts in that picture. If remember correctly, they were matte and some of them looked slightly see through.
It also had a traditional glitter mix of multi-colored hex glitter in various sizes and a bottle of small hex mixed up.

  5. I don't think Walmart is allowed in NYC, but those are some crazy cool matte glitters! Almost glitter overload. Sinful doles them out slowly so I really get excited about them. Everything about the packaging is awesome.

  7. I love Almar polishes! I have a bunch of their crelly glitters from Five Below sets and that pink "textured" set up above (they had it a while ago at my Burlington, oddly enough). They tend to have a strong smell so that's something to be aware of, if the Kleancolor stink turns you off of polishes.
I was just at Walmart yesterday looking for the new Pure Ice butterfly collection & didn't even check the seasonal section. I'll have to go back! Especially since the Pure Ices weren't in yet. ;)

  8. about a month ago, i puchased the 3-pk chunky glitter with the green mix [along with the pink and purple mixes,] it was the only one i saw, and it rung up for like 0.33, so it was like 90 percent off...steal
