Spotted: NEW CoverGirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation and Outlast Longwear Lipsticks

So you know that CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation is my Holy Grail drugstore foundation, right? Well I know some of you love the coverage, but not so much the matte finish. And to that I say: there's a new LUMINOUS formula! And a new Outlast Longwear Lipstick line.

Many thanks to reader PetitChocolat89 on YouTube for this one:

PetitChocolat89 spotted this display at her local Mejier this week and was nice enough to share some pics with us! Keep reading for a closer look...

I enlarged PetitChocolat89's photo a bit for a closer look at the new foundation and primer:

NOTE: I just noticed that Red Siren 915 is repeated twice above. Like with the foundation, I'm guessing there should be another shade listed in its place.

Notice the Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Glosses in the bottom right-hand corner of the pic above. I'm not sure if those are new shades or repromotes.

Have you seen these new CoverGirl products in your area yet? I've only seen the new Super Sizer Mascara and Intensify Me! Liquid Liner in my area so far, but I cannot wait to see these in person. Thoughts? I really hope that, if this foundation formula is a hit, CG will release additional shades. Considering that there are 14 shades in the original line, hopefully we'll see them expand to 14 in this one as well.

Thanks so much, PetitChocolat89, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!

    2. update: today on my lunch break (i work at CVS) i was surprised to see a display of the foundation and primer! we never get new products early. of course i snatched up my shade IMMEDIATELY and will be trying it tomorrow. i also picked up glamoflauge the other day and i'm loving it so far!

    3. also, my shade is 810 classic ivory, which i don't see on your list! perhaps that's what happened with the duplicate of 820.

  2. Mascara stinks! The formula is nice and kinda powdery, but you have to TWIST the wand while putting it on. Don't know if this was thier take on Benefit's Roller Lash, but its a major let down. Of you don't do it right, its all clumpy and messy. Very awkward. The liner, however is mice. Good, dark black color, matte.

    1. Sorry the mascara didn't work for you! I knew going into it about the rolling technique (I posted about that a week or two ago) but I do not think this is trying to be a dupe, because it's not claiming to curl like the benefit one, and the brush is extremely different. :)

    1. I'm really surprised they don't. I had good luck with those Shadow Blast eyeshadow + primers a few years back. Maybe a stand alone primer is around the corner? :)

  4. Oh yeah! I'm a huge fan of the original 3-in-1 so for this to have a luminous finish, sign me up! I have been cheating on CG with the new Hard Candy Glamoflauge foundation but I definitely need to hunt this down and try it. Thanks for the great pics!

  7. Have you seen an ingredient list anywhere? I'm crossing my fingers this one doesn't have fragrance, but stay fabulous does so I won't be surprised!

  8. I can't wait to try the luminous version. I like the original, but my skin is dry.

  9. Do you think you'll be reviewing this foundation?
    I'm definitely intrigued.

  10. I am curious about the foundation. I do like the matte version, though, but it seems the buff beige is a bit too dark on me lately. Lately I'm finding myself cheating on the 3-in-1 with the Rimmel radiance BB cream. It's a bit brighter on me and gives good coverage. (And is cheaper, especially when there's a sale.)

  11. Is anyone else bummed that the foundation has a separate primer? That is one thing I liked about the 3 in 1. I gues the 3 in 1 was kins pore cloggy though. I wonder if you only get the long wear with the primer though??

  12. Any tips for looking for the right shade of drugstore foundation?

  13. I believe CG was the first long wear lipstick I owned and I loved it. I wish it was at my Target so I could use the 10.00 gift card deal this week. Bummer.

  14. Hi G.! I found the display at my local BB&B on Saturday and had to buy the foundation. I bought the same shade that I wear in the regular Outlast (825 Buff Beige). I tried it out yesterday to go out for Mother's Day dinner, and my first impression is.....I'm impressed!!! I never use luminous foundations because I feel like the ones I've tried made me look too shiny. Not this one ~ no sparkles, no shimmer, just glowy! I didn't look like a greaseball by the end of the day either, and the staying power was awesome. I need to keep trying if out of course, but so far I'm really liking it! Go Cover Girl ~ they're making some winning foundations lately! (My other CG favorites are the regular Outlast and the Ready Set Gorgeous.)

  15. I hope this new foundation will be better suited for dry skin than the 3 in 1 :)

  16. There is a shade numbered 955 named Amazing Auburn that I think is missing from the list of lipsticks. I just picked it up today.
