Spotted: NEW Milani Fierce Foil Lip Gloss Collection

The last of the new Milani Spring 2015 products has official landed at the drugstores! Many thanks to reader Seana for this sighting. Seana spotted the new Fierce Foil Lip Glosses at her local CVS this week and kindly shared some pics:

04 Venice, 05 Capri, 06 Sardinia

As of the time of this post, these are not yet on the Milani website, and I've only heard from readers who have seen them at CVS so far. Don't forget that these are part of the big B2G1FREE sale this week at CVS, in case you spot them!

PS: I sort of wish that the name Sardinia belonged to the pink shade instead of the orange/coral one. Every time I think of Sardinia, I think of this magical beach:

The Pink Beach
Budelli, Sardinia, Italy

The beach gets its color from tiny fragments of coral and shells. Beautiful, right? It would be fitting to have the pink shade in this line called Sardinia, and I think the orange-y shade feels more like "Rome" to me. But then again, I've never actually been to Italy so what the heck do I know? I'm only basing that off the photos I always see of the Coliseum, which are usually filled with glowing orange light. Ha!

Have you spotted the new Milani Fierce Foil Lip Glosses in your area yet? Thoughts?

Thanks again, Seana, for the great sighting and pics!

  1. Oh, G....

Now, if you could manage to get that beach as part of a B2G1Free promo… sigh. "Yes, I'll take two glosses and the beach, please," says the frozen Midwest lady. 😉

    BTW, those glosses look beautiful.

    2. I think a lot of the recent displays did come with what looked like a tear pad of coupons, but it was actually entry forms for a grand prize trip to Italy. Sorry not certain of the details as I was saddened they weren't coupons. That pink does look lovely, and I totally agree about how the names should be switched!

  4. TBH, I wish the Florence gloss and nail color were different. But I may be a little biased. ;-)

  5. I saw them at Harmons and bought some. I've yet to try them but hoping that they work better than the eyeshadows.

    1. Hi Annie, Have you tried the new shadows from Physicians Formula. They are the same. I have them and they go on sheer but with a pretty shimmer. It last a while too and looked very nice.
You wont get pigmentation on your eyes from these, just a pretty shimmer. :D
I expect the glosses will be the same but layered over a lipstick it will probaby look very nice :D

    2. Hi Annie,
I have tried these and they are opaque!!!!!!! At least the plum one was but it had the least amount of shimmer.
The hand swatches have a TON of shimmer in it.
But on the mouth the purple seemed a bit sheer.

  6. I hope I can find these. Have spotted everything else in the fierce foil collection, except for those damn eyeshines! Cannot find them anywhere! But they didn't get rave reviews so I guess it all works out in the end. But still...I'd at least like to see them in person and then decide if they are worthy of a purchase.

  7. I purchased Milan, Rome, and Venice from CVS B2G1 free.

  8. These are a miss for me. I bought three and they are just packed with glitter. Not the subtle, barely felt glitter, either, but the kind that you can feel when you press your lips together. I swatched all three back to back and my lips actually felt exfoliated and sore after. I think I will take them back.

  10. Am I the only one who gets reminded of the Gerard Cosmetics Lip Gloss when I look at these?

  11. I bought Florence and I am wearing it today. I love, love, love it although it does bleed and feather. I didn't expect that out of a gloss so I didn't line my lips. I will wear liner next time.

  12. Found these at my CVS, though the display was very picked over. Not sure how I feel about them yet. They're STUNNING in the tube but they're loaded with glitter that feels quite gritty on the lips.

  13. LOVE, love, LOVE these! Yes, they're glitter packed, but they impart such light to the lips that I can overlook the silver sparkle that's left behind ... they're definitely opaque (at least the 2 I bought, Rome & Venice), and they smell like vanilla cake batter (yay, not that watermelon scent lol). I've had people ask me what I'm wearing, and I almost don't want to share, because I'm not sure if these will be permanent or LE lol ... I love them, and I don't even LIKE gloss typically!
