Swatches: NEW Nyx Spring 2015 Prismatic Eyeshadows and Intense Butter Glosses

Thanks to some fab ladies over on YouTube, I have swatches to share with you today of some of the new, permanent (not limited edition) Nyx products that are coming your way soon. Take a look!

NEW for Spring 2015: Nyx Prismatic Eyeshadows

First up, Laura (Mrslolalynn on YouTube) kindly shared these pics of the Nyx Prismatic Eyeshadows, which are new for Spring 2015. I don't know when they'll be available at Ulta or the Nyx site, but I'm assuming very soon. There are twelve shades in this range and Laura said they're very much like foiled shadows (think Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows). So pretty, right? I'm loving that deep green. I'm sure Laura will be doing a video on these soon, so check her channel for updates.

Keep reading for swatches of the new Intense Butter Glosses...

New for Spring 2015: Nyx Intense Lip Butters
From left to right:
Napoleon, Berry Strudel, Toasted Marshmallow, Orangesicle, Apple Crisp, Chocolate Crepe, Banana Split, Funnel Delight, Sorbet, Black Cherry Tart, Tres Leches, Spice Cake

Next up, Michelle (Readysetglamour on YouTube) kindly shared these swatches of the new Nyx Intense Butter Glosses, and she mentioned that they are seriously intense. I think this is my third post to date about these new Intense Butter Glosses (which are already starting to pop up in-store at Ulta) but really, look at these beauties! Toasted Marshmallow and Chocolate Crepe need to be mine..

NOTE: These are not mattes--they are shiny. You can see Michelle's video on these HERE, and she also posted lip swatches of the purple shade Berry Strudel HERE (wow!).

Thanks so much, Laura and Michelle, for the great pics and swatches. I really appreciate it!

  2. Based on these swatches I think I changed my mind about Spicecake. I need Toasted Marshmallow, Chocolate Crepe, Tres Leches, and Banana Split (which I didn't like the looks of based on the other swatches, but I like it here...kinda like Cosmopop by Lime Crime. TM and CC are kinda in the Marsala range, huh?

  6. Dear Nyx, will you please adopt me? Seriously, though, I want Napoleon and Toasted Marshmallow, and maybe Spice Cake.

I was in our Ulta yesterday and they didn't have any of the newest Nyx products. The last new stuff from Nyx was put out around Christmas and was some eyeliners and foundations. Not very interesting IMO.

  11. I'm sure you could use a loose translucent powder to matte the butter glosses if you prefer a matte finish and it would prolong its staying powder
