New from Olay: Fresh Outlast "Farmer's Market-Inspired" Body Washes and Bar Soaps

So I was catching up on my drugstore news over the holidays and noticed this interesting article on Happi.com about the new Olay Fresh Outlast Collection of body washes and bar soaps. After some digging, I was able to find additional images online of these products (some of which are already available for purchase online; the entire line should be debuting in stores in February). Check it out:

NEW Olay Fresh Outlast Collection
Champagne Mango & White Ginger, Orchid & Black Currant,
White Strawberry & Mint, Pear & Fuji Apple

According to the article I linked to above, these new body washes and bar soaps are “farmer’s market-inspired” and "lower in sulfates and contain three times more mild cleansers than before, plus they are formulated to work with skin’s natural pH. The bars contain 10 times more moisturizer than regular soap for smoother skin."

Interesting side-note: also according to that article, Olay teamed up with Food Network star Ingrid Hoffmann to create four exclusive recipes inspired by each of the new fragrances. I'm sure we'll hear more about that once these products hit stores and the ad campaign begins.

Keep reading for a pic of the new bar soaps (which you can purchase now) and more info...

The Strawberry & Mint and Orchid & Black Currant soaps and body washes are already available for purchase on the Walgreens site HERE (free everyday shipping on orders $25+ and right now if you enter code CHEERS15 at checkout you'll receive an additional 15% off your entire order). You can view the full list of ingredients on the Walgreens site as well.

If you have seen this collection locally, I would love to know where you spotted it--I can't wait to give these a sniff and see them in person. You know I'm all about the fruity/gourmand bath & body products!

    1. I was about to mention that as well, it does smell really good. I thought it was going to be creamy but was more of a pearly gel which is a nice medium, not too much moisture and not stripping. I also thought it would feel cooling and that there would be menthol present, but no.

    1. Just a heads-up...it doesn't provide a cooling sensation. I got a deluxe mini bottle sample from PinchMe and don't even smell a hint of mint. It does smell great though, like strawberry nerds mixed with sweat pea petals and a hint of tart lemon that cuts the overt sweetness of the nerds notes, hehehe. If you're looking to cool off in the shower I totally suggest Dr. Bronner's peppermint castile soap as a body wash, even after a steamy shower you WILL feel the cool long after you step out and dry off. Btw, it is super concentrated so you can dilute as you like. :)

  7. I am a huge Dove body wash fan and jumped all over the new scents released last year…does Olay compare to Dove or vice versa?
