Spotted: NEW Wet n Wild Coverall Primer and Correcting Palette

Well what do we have here? I have not received my official press info/samples of the new 2015 Wet n Wild products yet, so I don't know if these are permanenet or limited ediiton, but they're definitely new to me!

Many thanks to longtime photo-contributor Lisa of Swatchesandwhatnot Blog for this one. Lisa spotted this new Wet n Wild set at her local Walgreens this week and was nice enough to share pics:

NEW Wet n Wild Coverall Primer and Correcting Palette Set
(retail: $4.99 at Walgreens)

Keep reading for more info and a closer look...

Wet n Wild Coverall Primer, 0.89 oz
Wet n Wild Correcting Palette, 0.22 oz

These don't appear to be minis. For example, the WnW Coverall Foundation is 1.0 oz. and primers are usually a bit smaller than their corresponding foundations. So 0.84 oz seem right for a full-size primer in this line. The Correcting Palette is 0.22 oz. and, for perspective, that's the same size as a Physicians Formula Matte Eyeshadow Quad

After a quick Google search, I was able to find this Walgreens listing for the Coverall Primer. From the listing:

Magic Potion!
  • Made with White Sapphire to Provide a Crystal Complexion for Ultra-Vibrant Color
  • Helps Lasts All Day [I'm guessing they meant to say "Helps Makeup Last All Day"--G.]
  • Prevents Caking, Creasing, & Smudging
  • Minimizes pores, refines fine lines, brightens complexion, and evens skin tone.

Made in USA

Ingredients: Water , Cyclopentasiloxane , Isododecane , Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer , Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer , Butylene Glycol , Decyl Glucoside , Polysilicone-11 , Dimethicone , Phenoxyethanol , Triethanolamine , Carbomer , Caprylyl Glycol , Chlorphenesin , Alumina , Hexylene Glycol , Ethylhexylglycerin , Hydroxyethylcellulose , 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid

NOTE: The Coverall Primer retails for $4.99 by itself on the Walgreens site, so you're basically getting the Correcting Palette for free in this set.

Again, I have not received press info for the new Wet n Wild 2015 products yet, so I cannot confirm for you just yet that these are permanent (as opposed to limited ediiton). If anything, I'm guessing the primer is a new permanent addition to the Coverall line, but I'm not sure about the Correcting Palette. I will let you know as soon as I get confirmation!

Have you spotted this set at your Walgreens (or elsewhere) yet? Thoughts?

Thanks so much, Lisa, for the great sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!

  3. I'm intrigued by the correcting palette. The primer's a pass for me, though. I've never found a primer that I've wanted to wear under makeup.

  4. There are a couple new WnW items on drugstore.com - there's a brow shaper (clear wax pencil) & this primer, plus a fergie shimmer palette that i think is new, plus the new kohl pencils you posted about a while back. if you look at the wet n wild items and sort by newest, you'll see the new items :)

  5. Oh, I'm going to keep my eye out for that. I have a thing for concealers and color correction kits.

  8. I know this is a comment on an older post but I picked I remembered seeing it! I grabbed this a couple weeks ago when I saw one lone box sitting randomly on the beauty counter at my local Walgreens. OMG! These are very creamy and just as pigmented as we expect from Wet n Wild! The highlighter (white shade) is my most favorite. It has become my go to for my brow bone highlight. (Just wanted to pass this info on)
