Spotted: NEW Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation and Powder

If you're a Fit Me fan, then I've got some exciting news for you. Thanks to longtime photo contributor Fatima (@th0tima on Instagram) for this sighting. Fatima spotted the new Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation and Powder collection at her local Harmon this week and kindly shared some pics. Take a look!

NOTE: A few of you have mentioned to me that Maybelline recently renamed their original Fit Me foundation  to "Fit Me Dewy + Smooth" (you can see what the new bottle looks like HERE and notice that it says "New Look" as opposed to just "New"). So there are now two options in the Fit Me line: "Dewy + Smooth" (aka: the original formula) and "Matte + Poreless".

There are twelve shades of foundation in this display (there are 18 shades in the original formula). I found an Amazon listing for this foundation HERE, in case you want to see the full list of ingredients.

There are eight shades of powder (one is not pictured) in this display. There are 18 shades in the original line. I have no idea if there will be additional shades in the Matte + Poreless line once it moves to the permanent wall display (hopefully that will be the case!). I found an Amazon listing for this powder HERE, in case you want to see the full ingredients list.

Are you a Fit Me foundation and/or powder fan? If so, are you excited to try this new formula? Have you already spotted it in your area?

Thanks so much, Fatima, for the great sighting and pics!

  1. Ohmygosh!!! I am so excited about this. I love the colors in fit me line and I love their concealer! But the powder was a little too shiny for my oily skin. I'm always looking for another wonderful powder!! I love the true match powder but the fit me powders seem to run way lighter (which is what I need for my fair skin) and also the Maybelline deals seem to be better than L'Oréal deals in my area! I hope you will try and review these, G!! I know you are oily too so I always look forward to your foundation and powder reviews :)

  4. These drugstore makeup lines sure do make it hard for deeper skin consumers. I can't wear ANYTHING from this new product line. *le sigh*

  5. Ooooo can't wait for some reviews on the matte foundation. Hopefully it's good. The original made a lot of people looking like a disco ball.

  6. I can't wait to try this, the original looked pretty, but disappeared from my face after 2 hours. I hope this has decent staying power!

  9. I'm obsessed with the original Fit Me foundation. It's incredible! It feels like a high end luxurious foundation but it's only about $5 at Target!!! Cannot say enough good things about it. If it ever goes away, I will cry. Thank GOODNESS they only changed the bottle and not the formula or else I'd be in an uproar. I'm intrigued by the new matte version and will definitely give it a whirl!

  10. I would love to try this. Actually there are several drug store brands i want to try but i have a tough time with color. No testers makes it even more difficult! I have a hard time at sephora or nords because i just have a complexion that's complicated. How do you even go about picking the right shade when you can't test it? Help please!

  11. MAC reference lol i’m an NW43/NC45 crossover and I’m not happy the only deeper shades they have in the matte version of the foundation are basically only 330 and 355 and in the powder 330. By itself 330 is a slight pinch too light but I can make it work and 355 is way too dark. Usually mixed 330 and 340 to varying degrees in the original Fit Me formula but in this matte version there’s no 340 in the foundation or the powder. I prefer the powder in 340.

  12. The powder is amazing for me! I usually have problems with powder oxidizing and have been looking for a decent colour and formulation for a few years now without any success. This powder does not oxidize, it comes in a color that suits my tone which I can almost never find and this formula does not irritate my skin like most, leaving my skin smooth and Matte, not cakey! I have a medium-deep caramel skin tone and I use 330 Toffee. Don't let the way it looks in the compact fool you. Each colour will suit a wide range of skin tones.

  13. There are 16 shades total in this collection, unfortunately Walgreens and target etc, don't carry all the shades. which makes absolutely no sense
