Spotted: NEW Revlon 2015 Nail Collection (New Core Shades & Transforming Effects Top Coats)

They're here! The new Revlon nail color shades and Transforming Effects Top Coats that I posted about a while back have landed! And guess what? They're permanent (not limited edition). That means no scrambling or rushing, and we can all take our time and wait for a good sale to do some major haulin'!

Many thanks to two lovely readers for the great pics. First up, reader Michelle (@chaliboo on Instagram) spotted the new Revlon polish display at her local Bed Bath & Beyond this week and shared some pics of the display. Take a look!

There are nine new core shades for 2015, and seven new Transforming Effects top coats. Again, these are all permanent additions to the Revlon nail color lineup.

Reader Tara (@taraaroth on Instagram) also spotted this display at her local Bed Bath & Beyond this week and was nice enough to share close-ups of all 16 shades with us!

Let's start with the Transforming Effects top coats:

Transforming Effects top coats:
775 Gold Glaze, 725 Cosmic Flakies

Iridescent flakies! And I love how Revlon used "polish fanatic lingo" and even named them "flakies"!

Transforming Effects top coats:
785 Matte Pearl Glaze, 745 Pink Glaze

I'm very curious about that matte top coat--will it have both a matte finish and a pearlized finish??

A nude version of the existing Revlon Graffiti toppers? I'm in.

And now for the new core shades:

So let's hear it, my fellow nail fanatics! What do you think of Revlon's 2015 offerings? Have you seen these in person yet? Do you have your eye on anything in particular?

Thanks so much, Tara and Michelle, for the great pics. I really appreciate it!

  1. I'll take Wild, Sultry and Provocative. And I'm with you, G, the possibility of a matte pearl finish?!? I can already picture it in my mind. Let's hope it really is what it sounds like it is!

  2. Oh yeah, and the Holographic Pearls too! :)

  3. I'm VERY excited to see swatches of the Transforming Effects top coats! Some of them look similar to other top coats I already own, but I like the look of Holographic Pearls, Cosmic Flakies, Matte Pearl Glaze, and Pink Glaze.

The other shades aren't too exciting to me because they look a lot like some polishes I already own. But Wild looks like it could be unique and Privileged looks like a nice peachy nude, so I'm looking forward to seeing more of those.

  4. Oh i wonder about holographic pearls! I hope it wont have a lot of greying. And if the flakies are really flakies or if they're shards.

  6. I'm really curious to see how the holographic top coat works. I wonder if it will be chunkier holo that's sparse, or if it'll be similar to the top coats where it transforms any polish into a holographic one. Fingers crossed it's the latter! Thanks for the heads up, now I have a couple of polishes to add to my ever-growing wishlist. :)

  7. I am compelled to collect all pastel blue shades so Socialite must be included!

  8. Permanent yay! I'm all about the holo and matte pearl ones at least. I have a ton of flakies and glitter already so they'd have to be pretty unique for me to justify more.

You're the third person to ask me that this week, so I'm thinking a lot of people missed my review--I hope that helps! :)

And I so hope you have better luck than I did, especially since you bought three! Fingers crossed. :)

  12. I got to try the holographic pearls polish today, and Im a fan. It doesnt make your base holo, like color club halo hues, but Id describe it as a more intense, better light-catching version of China Glaze's fairy dust. It was very BAM, if that makes sense.

    1. I just bought this also at Wegan's on sale for 2.99 and they only had 2 left. Kickin' myself for not getting the other bottle. My fave all time!

  13. I got Socialite today, and it's very pretty, although application was a bit uneven. It reminds me a bit of Chanel Riva, with its subtle silver, pink and blue shimmer.

  14. Found the display at Rite Aid yesterday. Can't wait to pick up a couple. I think I'm going to pass on the toppers. I have enough of that type polish. Must have Socialite for my collection of blues
