Spotted: NEW Revlon Photoready Eye Art and Photoready Kajal Eye Pencils

In addition to the new Revlon Ultra HD lip colors now popping up at Bed Bath & Beyond (click HERE for pics), there are also some new eye cosmetics from Revlon now popping up at BB&B!

Thanks to reader Michelle (@chaliboo on Instagram) for this one. Michelle spotted this new Revlon display at her local BB&B this week and was nice enough to share pics. Take a look!

(retail: $7.99 each at Bed Bath & Beyond)

Keep reading for details and a closer look...

NOTE: There's no indication that these are limited edition, so I believe they're new, permanent additions to the Revlon line-up.

On the left side of the display we have new Photoready Eye Art double-ended shadows. I cropped and enlarged these from Michelle's pic for a closer look:

As you can see, these look very similar to Revlon's Nail Art polishes, but of course these are eyeshadows. There are ten duos in this collection. On one end you have a cream shadow, and on the other end you have a glittery shadow that can be used "for lids, as liner or on lashes." The cream shadows appear to be shimmers/metallics but it sort of looks like the lavender and black shades above might be matte (I have no idea if that's the case, of course). Based on the image on the display, the glitter end looks more like colored glitter in a clear base but, again, I have no idea if that's the case for all shades since I haven't seen these in person yet.

On the right side of this display we have the new Photoready Kajal Eye Pencils. The copy on the display above says "line with matte kajal for definition" and there are four shades in this display (a black, yellow, gray and light blue) but I do not know if there will be additional shades once this moves to the permanent Revlon display (I would assume so, but you never know!).

If you're thinking, "Wait, doesn't Revlon already have kajal eyeliners?" you would be correct, but the ones that came out in May of 2013 were called Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner + Brighteners (totally different than these new ones above).

Have you spotted these new Revlon eye cosmetics out "in the wild" yet? Thoughts? I would imagine that these will start to show up at all of the usual retailers within the next few weeks (BB&B tends to get certain collections a few weeks before other retailers).

Thanks so much, Michelle, for the great sighting and pic. I really appreciate it!

  4. Spotted these today at my BB & B. Didn't even realize they hadn't been talked about yet. The teal and yellow were gorgeous. I will probably have to go back for them even though they're a little steep.

  8. The colors look gorgeous looks a lot like the Chanel paint pot eyeshadows might be a great dupe especially with the glitter topcoat
