Walmart Beauty Box

UPDATE: Please click here before ordering. Thanks!

Many thanks to longtime reader Heather (@aitch77 on Twitter) for this one! Heather just let me know that Walmart is the next retailer to offer a beauty box to its customers. They're doing it a bit differently than the Target Beauty Boxes that come out a few times a year. Check it out:

Walmart Beauty Box
($5 per box, four boxes per year)

UPDATE: Please click here before ordering. Thanks!

According to Glamorable blog (click HERE for more info about the contents you can expect to find in each box), the Walmart Beauty Box program offers four boxes per year--one for Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Each box retails for $5, so you'll pay $20 for the entire year. I haven't tried to sign up yet, which you can do HERE.

UPDATE: Thanks to readers Laura and Marge below for letting us know that the boxes are FREE, but you are charged $5 for shipping each time a box ships (four separate charges of $5 each per box; four boxes delivered per year).

Thanks again, Heather, for the great tip about this one!

  1. Okay, so I did it. No extra shipping, only the $5. Account gets charged each time a box ships so if you just want to try it out you would only be out the $ 5.

  2. Walmart says "Sample boxes will always be free!
You'll only be charged for shipping, which occurs at the time the boxes are sent."
    Shipping is $5.00.

  3. I want to try this, but I already know I don't like the Biore Self-Heating Minute Mask, Tresemme dry shampoo, and the Secret Deodorant. Could that be a nail polish next to the Olay product? I'm not sure if it's worth it to see what's in the future boxes.

  6. I say for $5, what the heck? I'm sure I would like at least one thing, if not every item, so why not try it? Thanks for the info...

  7. I went to sign up for it but hesitated because the page where I entered my shipping address and credit card info wasn't secured.

    1. You're right. I'll skip it. Thanks for posting that. I wish they had Paypal option.

    1. Me too since I canceled all my other 'beauty box' subscriptions for various reasons (too pricey for small samples, horrid CS etc.) So am looking forward to this one. I hope they throw in some Flower items since I haven't tried any yet.

  9. Looks kinda fun! I just may do it for the "happy mail" thing that Gypsy Galore mentioned! I always love a surprise in the mail!

  10. Received my WalMart box today, and was very disappointed. Two foil packet shampoo samples, 5 ponds wipes (sample), Aveeno moisture sample, Olay tone perfector (tiny sample tube), L'Oreal Age Perfect sample (like they have in magazines), and a small sample jar of Pond's Rejuveness. Not much, and not worth even the $5.
