Spotted: The new Jane Cosmetics display at Ulta

If you caught my Jane Cosmetics: Your Questions Answered  post a few weeks ago, then you know that the big debut in Ulta stores was August 18th (Jane Cosmetics is also available on the Ulta website).

This morning, reader T. of Lacq Lustre shared a ton of pics of the display at her local Ulta store. Check out T's photos right here. Also today, reader Veronica shared a pic of the display that's now at her local Ulta:

Have you seen this display at your local Ulta yet? Anything catching your eye? Again, for product details, see the Ulta website here. If you have any questions about the Jane Cosmetics relaunch or Jane Cosmetics in general, please see my post here.

Thanks so much, T. and Veronica, for the great photos! I really appreciate it!

  1. Wow.. there are a lot of shadows. $8 each is too much though, that's $24 for just a trio. I think the entire line is overpriced. I really enjoyed the little palettes they released last year $9 for three shadows and a blush.. reasonable.

    1. I don't see an issue with the price, considering the better drugstore eyeshadows are getting to be nearly $8 each these days.

My sideeye is their new slogan is "confidence comes in many colors", but there's only 3 shades of bb cream.

  2. I agree, $8 is a lot compared to what it used to be. I put Jane kind of near Wet n' Wild's level so the prices are sort of ehh.

    1. Not anymore, though. I've tried the shimmer shadow and can say they're superior to Wet n Wild in both texture, shades, and very little fallout. I'd buy them vs. NYX.

  3. I miss the old Jane- good, cheap, and fit into MAC palettes depotted.

  4. Just saw the display and my Ulta (in North San Diego) and I agree that the prices seem eh.

  5. I was really bummed not to see lipsticks on the display at my ULTA. Jane made the best 90's brown back-in-the-day!

    1. Yes! I used to rock Jane's Kind of Carob back in 9th grade.

  6. No sign of this or Mally. My local Ultas seem stinky. The SA had no idea when to expect Mally, she just told me they were for sale on the website. I do not like to pay for shipping unless its the only game in town...even then it better be worth it and have a great return policy. I cannot see paying to ship something back that doesn't work out.

  7. Who wants to bet Ulta can't keep this one stocked any better than Essence or NYX?

  8. I used to have a huge collection of Jane makeup(and Street Wear, anyone remember that?) back in the day. If only it still sold at the old prices, these are just to much for me:(
