Revlon Photoready Skinlights have landed in Canada!

Remember back in March when I posted about how Revlon was bringing back their very popular and very-much-missed Skinlights line? When I wrote that post, the new Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminators were scheduled to hit the UK in April, but I didn't have any information about the line coming to the US.

Well guess what? They're inching their way closer to us--they've landed in Canada! A huge thanks to reader Elle for this sighting:

Revlon Photoready Skinlights Face Illuminators in Canada
(retail: $15 CAD, 1.0 oz)

There are four shades in this range:

100 Bare Light, 200 Pink Light, 300 Peach Light, 400 Bronze Light

Obviously the word "light" in these shade names is in reference to the illuminating quality of the product and not an indication of the shade (light, medium, deep, etc.).  Elle describes these shades as "light nude, pinky, tan nude, deep nude."

Granted, these are not exactly like the old Skinlights collection (the old line had tons of different products including loose powders, blushes, etc.) but I'm hoping that since Revlon is using the name "Skinlights," this means that these new versions will include some of the qualities that made the originals such a hit.

I'll of course keep you posted if I hear anything about a US launch date for these. Until then, are you excited to see these coming closer to the US? If you're in the UK or Canada and have tried "Skinlights 2.0" I'd LOVE to hear from you!

Thanks so much, Elle, for the awesome sighting and pics. I really appreciate it!

    1. Actually, nope! Maybelline and L'Oreal have also done this. The Color Tattoos hit Canada first, and the Colour Caresse glosses, etc. Seems to be a growing trend.

  4. Am I correct in assuming that these just add glowy highlights to the skin? How wouly you say the old version compared to NARS Illuminators? Because if Bronze Light would do for me what Laguna does at half the price? POW! (Not that I've ever PURCHASED Laguna. I'm a TRUE Nouvette!)
