The new L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder has landed!

Remember a few weeks ago when I posted that sneak-peek at the new L'Oreal Nude Magic Liquid Powder Foundation? Well guess what? It has landed! Reader @allydaluisio on Twitter spotted the display at her local Bed Bath & Beyond the other day. Take a look!

NEW L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation
(retail: $10.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond)

Keep reading for a close-up look at the bottle...

"Transforms from liquid to powder for the perfect bare skin finish"

Ally said that she purchased a bottle and that it "definitely has a liquid-powder feel." Consider me intrigued! I must find this ASAP (and you know I'll review it after I give it a good testing!). Notice that the label above says that it's "Not recommended for use with a sponge or brush." Alright, this just adds to my curiosity!

Have you spotted this foundation in your area yet? Thoughts?

Thanks once again, Ally, for the great sighting and all of the pics today! I really appreciate it!

  1. Hmmm... No broad-spectrum sun protection, and I have a feeling it's alcohol-based. Not interested.

    1. SPF isn't that great anyway. It causes flashback in pictures, causing you to look oily, and it tends to make the foundation not wear as well. The foundation is water-based, that's why they don't recommend a sponge, makeup sponges + water-based foundation = no.

    2. its alcohol on the 3rd ingredient?

  2. So... Are you supposed to apply with your hands? Bummer, I like to change it up!

  3. This looks very interesting...can't wait to see your review! Can it beat my current fave, CG 3-in-1? ;)

    1. Cg 3-in-1 literally deteriorates on me in less than 4 hours...like I can see splotches of it gone. And I didn't touch my face or go out in excessive heat for long period of time. I don't get it :/ I had such high hopes with how many people love it

  4. Reminds me of the foundation Erno Laszlo and Alexander De Markoff had and Clinique. I am sure it is with better technology. If I run into it, I might just have to try.

    1. Oh, I hope it's like the Laszlo version! I have a feeling it has some sneaky volatile hydrocarbons in there that will melt a brush or sponge.

  5. I saw this today at Harmon's in an NYC suburb but had no idea...interesting!!

  6. Aw snap! This is the kinda foundation I need in my makeup bag for those manic mornings.....no tools necessary- just clean hands-intrigued. Bad news if it works my purse get that much heavier!! LOL

  7. Since it says apply with your hands, I wonder if it's similar to Armani Maestro foundation. I'd have to get a look at the ingredients list. I have a feeling this will give more of a natural skin look than a foundation, just like the Maestro.

    1. I'm kind of hoping it is. Loreal owns Armani right? So this could be like when they released a drugstore version of the YSL glossy stains. I'm so curious to see reviews of this!

  8. Ok from liquid to powder....now I'm interested! I wonder though if it will be too drying on dry skin; I can't wait to see a review and swatches!

  9. I hope you find it so you can test it! That will definitely be an interesting review to see. I'm curious but probably won't buy it. No US drugstore foundation matches me ~ I'm too white (literally) for them. What's the obsession with no-makeup-makeup recently anyway? You're still wearing makeup!XD

  10. Those bottles are hideous.

  11. I'm very excited for this! L'Oreal is one of my drugstore foundation go to brands. The bottle seems pretty unique, too!

  12. I am definitely interested in trying this. For drugstore, I usually have the best luck with L'Oreal foundations in terms of performance and color match. And like so many others, I am a sucker for anything that's touted as new or innovative.

  13. Um...this sounds like Wonder Finish repackaged.

  14. It probably shouldn't be used with a sponge because it is water based , so the sponge would just soak it up, probably why you must shake it first .

  15. This looks really interesting. However, since the L'Oreal BB cream did nothing but turn me bright orange, I am hesitant to try it...

  16. I LOVE IT!!! Got it today and put it on as soon as i got home. It smells quite strong BUT it's blendabe and light weight it's insane. There's no need for a brush or sponge. It looks flawless and is perfect for this summer. EVERYONE MUST TRY THIS.

  17. I just bought this foundation at The Christmas Tree Shop in Nashua, NH. It works great! I didn't think it was going to give good coverage, but, it does. You have to be careful pouring it out because it is very liquidy. It also costs $10.99 at The Christmas Tree Shop.

  18. I bought 2 bottles as matching my skin isn't something that comes easy to me.
I tried on the lighter color yesterday, with a brush (bad move on my part). Won't happen again. I couldn't resist!!
Tried the second color today slightly darker, I love love it!! Other than my troublesome oily nose!!! Everything else was exceptional. Compliments received and appreciated from my sweet nephew and my husband. My two daughters asked "wow Mom, where are you going, your makeup is all done up". What????!! I need to figure out the nose issue, otherwise I'm in love.
