This is exciting for several reasons! I'll explain in a second, but first let me give a big thanks to reader Autumn, who spotted this new display at CVS recently. Autumn was kind enough to share a pic with us:

Revlon Spring 2013 The Pacific Coast Collection by Gucci Westman
Here's why this collection is particularly exciting:
1) There are three shades of the new Baby Sticks in this display. I've been talking about these new Baby Sticks, which are for lips and cheeks, for months now and I'm so happy they're finally here!
2) It appears that ALL FOUR of the new (permanent) Revlon Lip Butter shades are in this display (click here for swatches). The shade names are: Wild Watermelon, Sorbet, Juicy Papaya and Pink Lemonade. By the way, if you're looking for these shades, they've also been spotted at Ulta and Target (in the regular permanent wall display). Also, the new shades are now listed on the Target website but the status as of the time of this post is "currently unavailable." And reader Rosanna just reminded us that the shade Sorbet is available for purchase on the Ulta website, in case you can't wait for them to show up in your area (thanks, Rosanna!).
3) There are two new (and possibly limited edition) eyeshadow palettes in this display.
4) New ColorStay nail colors. The shade on the far right reminds me of one of the shades from the Limited Edition Naked Tips & Neon Lips Collection.
5) There is also a pearlescent white eyeliner (liquid?) in this display (thanks for the info about that, Amber!).
Lots to take in and, needless to say, I'll be stalking my local drugstores until I find this one. I cannot wait to try those Baby Sticks! Have you spotted this display in your area yet? Thoughts?

The item at the top is an eyeliner that appears to be a pearlescent white shade. Sorry for not stating so in the picture I sent you.

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting for the new Lip Butters to come out. I will be stalking the drugstores. Too bad Rite Aid didn't get this before the $4.99 lipstick sale ends.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious about those baby sticks. They look really similar to the Jordana cream blushes that came out last year, packaging-wise. Can't wait to see this display.

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it here in Michigan yet, and I've hit up a lot of stores in the last few days looking for other things. Interesting that they've switched Gucci Westman to the more expensive Colorstay polishes.

Ok, so I came back here to report (cannot access You Tell Me on my phone) I purchased a Baby Stick in the bright pink (sry I'm not home so I don't have the name...will be retuning it though) and it is horribly greasy. I thought about keeping it for the lips, but not worth it as I have similar colours. Pigmentation is also very weak. I would definately go back for the Photoready creme blush in the hot pink instead, as I got the bright coral one last summer and the formula was good for my very oily skin. I also picked up every lipbutter except Sorbet, and I love them all...especially Wild Watermelon!
DeleteI finally saw some of the new Lip Butters at Target. The watermelon one is gorgeous! But I didn't buy it because I'm hoping to get it with a coupon.

ReplyDeleteI saw this display at my local drugstore a few days ago..I picked up all four of the new Revlon lip butters (LOVE THEM) and one baby stick in the (coral shade). I was SUPER disappointed when the baby stick had little to NO pigmentation....especially since it retailed for $8.99 each..I even watch a Youtube review on the baby sticks and a girl had all three of them said...only ONE had "some" pigmentation..which I believe was the shade in raspberry....
