Spotted: Essie Spring 2013 Madison Ave-Hue Collection

Pastels are definitely on-trend when it comes to Spring 2013 nail color! Reader Angie just spotted the new Essie Spring 2013 Madison Ave-Hue Collection at Walgreens and was nice enough to share. Take a peek:

Left to Right:
Madison Ave-Hue, Avenue Maintain, Maximillian Strasse-Her, Go Ginza

There are two other shades in this collection (not pictured):

Hip-Anema (poppy red)
Bonding With Whoever (lilac)

For more info and shade descriptions, click here. I think I "need" Maximillian Strasse-Her. I love grey-greens!

Thanks so much for the great sighting and pic, Angie!

  1. Wow.. Finally the Essie Spring Collection has surfaced! Essie is my favorite so I'm excited.. but I can't help but notice that they all look like polishes that we've seen before. What do you think?

  2. Lovely colors but nothing really groundbreaking. I really like the looks of Avenue Maintain, I just hope it's got a good formula the last couple of Essies I've gotten have been hit or miss.

  3. Meh, nothing we haven't seen before, except the gray-green looks a little different. However, it would give me zombie hands so I'm not interested. Thanks for the news, though!

  4. The colors are all pretty creamy and opaque. The lighter ones are opaque in 2 coats and not streaky at all. The darker Colors are opaque in one coat. They have this collection already out at my target so I swatched them on my nails :) go Ginza reminds me of opi steady as she rose from the pirates collection. I really love bonding with whomever. If lilacism and play date had a baby that's the exact color. Hip-anema is the exact same color as fifth avenue. I compared them side by side and could not tell the difference at all. I swear the bottled the same Polish and slapped a different name on it.
