Spotted: new polishes from Sinful Colors, Sally Hansen, L'Oreal, Essie and Orly

The new polish parade at the drugstore doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon, which I'm sure will make my fellow lacquer heads quite happy! I've got lots to share with you today, complements of some lovely readers, so let's get started:

First up, ANOTHER new display from Sinful Colors, with one NEW shade:

In addition to Study In Style, which contains the new shade Leap Flog, I've been hearing from some of you who have spotted ANOTHER new shade called Rain Storm in the new Start a Phenomenon display. Thanks to reader Ariadne Elise for the photo of this display above!

And thanks to reader Elsa for confirming some of the other shades in the display (from left to right in the photo above):

Rain Storm, Cross My Heart, Exotic Green, Slate, Savage, Matte Nirvana (which, according to Elsa is exactly the same as the old Nirvana), Ciao Bella, Fig and Creamy Pink (you can barely see Creamy Pink above, but it's in the back row on the top).

Reader Ariadne Elise also spotted the new Yogaga collection from Essie:

(not featured in this display: Gym Dandy and Spinning Again)

NOTE: thanks to reader Ryan for confirming that there are two additional colors in this collection (not featured in the above display. Ryan writes:

There are two additional colors to the collection for a total of six...The other two colors not shown are Gym Dandy, which is darker than Chinchilly but a little lighter than Mink muffs. Pretty color. And the other one is Spinning Again, a dark burgundy??

Reader Brie of Simply Thrifty Nails spotted the new Sally Hansen Sparkle Crackles at her Walgreens:

According to Brie, the shades are (left to right): Coral Collide, Star Burst and Sage Smash. If I'm not mistaken, it LOOKS like Star Burst contains black glitter.

Brie also spotted the new Sally Hansen Limited Edition Insta Dri Collection at Walgreens:

I've been dying to buy Preamp ever since I saw Jen's swatches of it. So glad it's at Sally's now!

Have you spotted any of these new collections yet? Thoughts?

  2. New Loreal polishes! Yay! They have the best brush and that green and blue are gorgeous. And it looks like that Essie is Marathin? Guessing it's a play on marathon.

  3. I want that L'Oreal shade called Hyde Park. I have a thing for green polish lately.

  4. Looks like Marathon, but that's so pedestrian. It has to be something else.

  5. I am about to paint my nails Preamp right now!! I found it Saturday at Sally's, and those same swatches made me want it. My Sally's also had the fall China Glaze collection, On Safari.

I'm also hoping my Walgreens gets the new Sinful Colors displays & colors in in time for the sale at the end of the month.

  6. Ok, If I spot those L'Oreals I'm getting all of them except for the first and last ones, maybe...I guess I should start apologizing to my wallet ahead of time!

  11. We got a whole new shipment of all those displays today! I love the whole Loreal line, I kinda want them all

  12. Where was the Essie Yogaga collection spotted? I would really like to pick up several of these but see nothing about this collection on-line.

  13. I actually got Rain Storm earlier today. I haven't tried it on yet, but should I send pics when I do?

The name "Marathin" bothers me. =(

  14. I picked up both Decoded and Snynchro. Decoded is lovely, but Synchro is awful. It looks nothing on the nail like it does in the bottle. The duo-chrome doesn't really show and it just ends up looking muddy and frosty. It also refused to dry. I promptly returned it.

  15. I plan to get Rain Storm, Slate, and Fig once the $.99 sale starts in a couple weeks. I doubt they'll all be gone by then since my Walgreens moves kind of slowly. :D

  16. The new L'oreal polish is available at Harmon (if you live in the NJ/NY area) nice colors. I got 2 last weekend.

  17. Essie Yogaga is a really pretty color! It's the perfect balance of yellow and pink (some greys lean too much toward one or the other).

In the bottle, it's more taupe-looking, but on me (NW30), it looks a bit more toward grey.

  18. I spotted the Sinful Colors collection and the new Essie at Walgreens this afternoon - and a whole new Sinful display! It was huge, and had tons of colors in it. Most were core collection, I think, but there were loads of Rain Storms and another called Lavender that I don't think I've seen before - I picked that up. It's a pretty blurple, sort of like a lighter Zoya Caitlin. I definitely want Rain Storm but am trying to hold out for the 99 cent sale. I think Essie Boxer Shorts will be coming home with me soon as well...

  20. I just saw that new Essie collection at my Meijer today. I was totally surprised when I saw them since I have not seen anyone talking about them. So I immediately came home and looked online to see if anyone had posted anything. There are two additional colors to the collection for a total of six, and I picked up five of them!! The other two colors not shown are Gym Dandy, which is darker than Chinchilly but a little lighter than Mink muffs. Pretty color. And the other one is Spinning Again, a dark burgundy?? I don't describe colors well :-) Need to find the new Loreal London collection! Like I need anymore polishes!!

  21. Oh I'm loving the new L'Oreal collection! I've been impressed with their formula lately, might have to track these down :)

  22. When does the sinful colors 99cent sale start?! theres a few on my wishlist! :)

  23. Went to Walgreens today, where I saw some of the new Sinful Colors in a bin, mixed with older colors. There were a lot of Leap Flog, Rain Storm, and Slate. I only found two bottles of Winterberry. They also had the new Sally Hansen Insta-Dri colors. I bought In A Flurry, though it was rather expensive at $5.79

  24. Spotted the huge Sinful Colors display today. Georgio and Lavender are exclusive to the bigger display, as far as I know. Rain Storm, Slate and Cross My Heart are part of the smaller and bigger display.

  25. I got two of the new Insta Dri polishes. You have to see them on person! The colors are so complex and that bright blue is to die for!

  26. I just picked up that L'Oreal shade in Brit Invasion- it has a bunch of gold shimmer in it, so it's not just a flat taupe. So pretty!

  27. Oooh! Hey, I have Sinful Color's Cross My Heart and I love it! It's a pretty tomato-red crelly that reminds me of V8 juice- every time I wear it I don't want to take it off!
