I've got a TON to cover in this post so let's get right to it!
First up, reader MakeupHound89 spotted some new products at her local Bed, Bath & Beyond recently and was nice enough to share:

As you can see, Maybelline has released lots of different highlighters and bronzers! On the left there are two powder compacts that provide a "Luminous Glow." Then there's a kabuki brush, followed by powder compacts that provide a "Bronze Glow". And then on the far right, there are Dream Bouncy Bronzers!
MakeupHound89 also spotted a new line of Cetaphil products designed for acne-prone skin. Exciting! Oh, and check out the tear-pad coupons on the display!
Next up, reader Rebecca spotted a few goodies at Walgreens and was kind enough to share. First, she spotted the display for the new Limited Edition Revlon Runway Pearl polish I showed you swatches of here.

Color Club polishes for $0.99 each! Whoo hoo!

I love Sonia Kashuk brushes! I've found that if you're patient enough and in the right place at the right time, you can find them on sale. Not often, but sometimes! I got a 5 piece brush set for like $5 a few months ago.

ReplyDeleteHi G! Big fan - I read the blog every single day! I check out almost all the sales too! About 2-3 weeks ago, I took a trip to the target near me (I live in NJ)& purchased the Sonia Kashuk brush couture kabuki...it's awesome! Super soft hair (not sure whether it's synthetic or natural), and even coverage with bronzers and blushes.

ReplyDeleteI heard that Sinful Colors are up to 1100 now on their numbers. So if the number is over 1100, its a new color. For example, Cinderella is 1104 and Neptune (from the Cast Away Collection) is 1114. Good thing to look for incase you think its a repromote. : )
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about the Cetaphil products! Also, I live in Atlanta and I went to Target yesterday. I saw all the Sonia Kashuk stuff except for the Kabuki brush and the foundation brush/sponge. I picked up one of the new bronzers. It was the last one! Her spring stuff is amazing.

ReplyDeleteThank you for mentioning the numbering system, Kelley! I was just at my local Wags, and I took the time to scan everything in core collection display for numbers at or above 1100. I found a couple of darker colors that I haven't seen in any of the LE displays. 1100 Blue By You and 1102 Kissy. Plus a couple more that I didn't feel the need to immediately buy. It's worth taking a look!

ReplyDeleteoooooo, i might have to look for that Cetaphil Oil Controling moisturizer. i have oily skin and i could definitely benefit from it. hopefully its not too drying though because my face is also dehydrated and flakey...ugh, i can never catch a break. lol

I haven't tried a cream bronzer before, but I'm intrigued I'll also be picking up the Cetaphil Oil Control Moisturizer and use that coupon. I'll definitely let you know what I think after I've tried them out.

ReplyDeleteI bought the cetaphil oil control moisturizer last week (didn't know it was something new, I was just out of Aveeno positively ageless moisturizer and wanted something a little easier on the wallet), and tbh, I'm not impressed. It is NOT drying, which is good, but I'm not seeing it controlling any oil either. I've also been breaking out more since using it this last week ... yeah, not so great. *shrug* It's not a bad moisturizer, but I'll be looking for something else if my skin doesn't clear up in the next couple of weeks. I am acne prone, but never had more than 1 or 2 red inflamed pimples at once. I have like 5 right now. :(
ReplyDeleteI just got a CC polish in my Birchbox and I love it, I hope I can find these at my Walgreens. That styling powder from Got2B looks awesome, would be great to give some thickness to my fine hair. I just wish I had more room for the SK brushes.

Bought the pink Maybelline Illuminator. I was disappointed because it was sparkly, but no actually color.
