The Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales (2/26 - 3/3)

For a listing of the beauty sales at Ulta, Target and Kmart this week, please click here.

CVS shoppers: Two great things going on this week at CVS. First, the Wet n Wild Spoiled nail polishes are 2/$3! Click here and here if you need some ideas. Second, spend $10 on any Physicians Formula cosmetics and you'll get $7 back in Extra Bucks (limit 1 so choose wisely). I LOVE it when they run this promotion, and since so many of the new Physicians Formula products come with rebates or instant coupons on the packaging, you can REALLY make this deal work for you and possibly turn your purchase into a money-maker. The CVS Cash Card promotion is still going on (spend $30 on participating items and you'll receive a Cash Card worth $10 to spend as you like at CVS). Participating beauty-related items are marked below. And remember that you do NOT have to purchase $30 worth of products all at once--they will accrue on your receipt.

Rite Aid shoppers: Three awesome deals this week! All Revlon cosmetics are 40% off AND if you spend $20 you get $6 +UP. EcoTools brushes are BOGOFREE (again!). And if that weren't enough,  if you buy 2 Sinful Colors polishes you get $2+UP, which breaks down to $0.99 per polish after +UP Rewards (CQ, Petites, etc. are also included in this deal, but since those are slightly higher they won't come out to $0.99 after rewards, of course). By the way, I haven't really mentioned CQ or Petites on the blog in a while, but last year around this time I swatched a bunch of shades, if you'd like some ideas. Some coupons you can pair with the Revlon and EcoTools sales: there are Video Values coupons still available for $2 off Revlon ColorStay Liquid Lipstick and $3 off Revlon Age Defying Foundation, but HURRY if you want those because they're going away soon (each month they post new coupons so these will be going away this week). And if you did not sign up for the $1 off coupon from EcoTools the last time Rite Aid ran this sale, you can do it here (they'll email you the coupon within 24 hours). Use that coupon and bring your total down even more on some new brushes or sets! And remember that, through March 17th, whenever you make a qualifying purchase (which I will clearly mark below), these purchases will add up on your receipts and when you hit $100, you'll get $20 back in +UP Rewards (they'll automatically print out on your receipt).

Walgreens shoppers: UPDATE: Thanks to Facebook follower Teresa for pointing out that Rimmel is not BOGO1/2OFF like I originally listed it below, it's 50% off! If you print out the $1 off Rimmel coupon from Red Plum, this week would be an ideal time to use it! All Neutrogena cosmetics are 40% off, Pond's towelettes are BOGOFREE and all SOHO makeup brushes are $3 off! Remember also that the March Coupon Booklet has good L'Oreal coupons that you can use with the BOGO1/2OFF sale on L'Oreal this week.  Also, here are a few odd ducks worth mentioning: Burt's Bees Honey Natural Throat Drops are FREE after RR ($1.99 with $1.99 Register Rewards). And Baby Magic Patty Cake Dustless Baby Powder is on sale for $6 with a $6 mail-in rebate (FREE).  I don't know much about this new product, but after looking at it here, it seems like it could be ideal for those of us who do at-home waxing. It's a pain sometimes to use traditional baby powder on my brows before I wax them (baby powder makes the hairs easier for the wax to grab) because I always make a mess at the bathroom sink. With these, all you'd have to do is give your brows a swipe!  Or you could even use these as a quick on-the-go dry shampoo (keep in your purse to run across your bangs when traveling). Or even to use on your feet if your shoes are slippery during the summertime. I'm always intrigued by new products so I thought it was worth mentioning. You get 10 cotton rounds per compact so, if you want to try them, get them while they're FREE (after rebate). Oh! And when you go to the Walgreens rebate page to get your rebate, you can elect to get your money back via a Walgreens gift card. If you do this, you get an extra 10% back, so then this deal becomes a money-maker (spend $6 get $6.60 back!). A huge thanks to Wild For Wags for that tip!

FUTURE WALGREENS SALE ALERT: Remember that printable Sally Hansen polish coupon I linked to last week? As of the time of this post it's still available, and Wild For Wags has a great deal on how to get a polish and a treatment for just $1 a piece starting 3/11 using that coupon. Click here for all the details (there's a link to the coupon in her post in case you need it).

  2. G,

I can't thank you enough for posting these every week. It's a post I always look forward to so I can go through my coupon arsenal and see what I can get for dirt cheap. It's so obvious that it takes a long time to write this with the painstaking detail that you do very well. Please know that your readers very much appreciate this!

    Thank you!

  4. Definitely making a drugstore trip tomorrow. :D

I really like reading your paragraphs about some of the greater deals. I like your details and notes about them. It catches my attention more than when I skim the sales list. ^^

    Thank you!

  5. There's also a $2 rebate this month on the Revlon Age Defying Foundation at Rite Aid. https://riteaid1.rebateplus.com/ra-v2/#rebatelist/current/rebate_number/6

I didn't know Sinful Colors were on sale... I hope I can find Green Ocean! :)

    1. Thanks for the reminder about the rebate!! I haven't seen green ocean at RA before but if you spot it, please let us know? Thanks so much! :)

    2. Oh darn... I just remembered Green Ocean is one of those Walgreens exclusives.
      :(

btw Revlon ECB was limit 6 at my CVS (NorCal), I picked up 4 of the 16hr quads... I have 11 of them now! XD I love that they work on my oily lids - I never have to worry about my eye shadows creasing anymore.

Thanks G., love you and your blog, always!

      Love you right back! xo

  6. Question....when it comes to ECB/UP/Register Rewards etc: Does the required total in order to receive the ECB/UP/Register Rewards have to be reached before or after any other coupons. For example, if the deal is spend $10 get $5 +UP and you get $10 worth of stuff, but you have a $1 coupon off your purchase so you're only coming out of pocket $9. Will you still get the $5 +UP? Or does your final total after coupons have to be $10?
I hope this makes sense, I know it was kind of wordy but I'm a little confused about this. The lady at CVS said that your total before coupons just had to be met but the lady at Rite Aid said it had to be after all coupons but neither seemed completely sure...

    1. Rewards are always calculated BEFORE coupons. I've never heard of them being calculated after coupons at any drugstore, so I'm really surprised you were told that!

    2. Thank you so much! The girl who told me that it was after coupons really didn't seem confident in her answer, nor did she seem very anxious to help me, so I'm not surprised she was wrong lol. Thanks again!

  9. I went to CVS today to take advantage of the Spoiled sale! I got the four I wanted, I Don't Drink Cheap Wine, Plenty of Fish in the Sea, Toad-ally Amazing, and Use Protection! AND I had $5 CVS credit or whatever it's called, so I only paid $1.08!! Good Day I'd say :) However, I went to Walgreens to buy a Rimmel product, and it was BOGO 50%, not just 50%...it was the same at CVS. Just thought I'd share!

    1. I just checked my local ad and it shows Rimmel 50% off, could be a regional difference. I would check your local ad, there is a possibility the store messed up or did not label it correctly. They would have to honor the ad.

    2. I'd say that was an AWESOME day! Congrats, hun!! :)

    3. And yes, I agree, seems to be a regional thing. :(

  10. First, I really should thank you for taking the time and thought to put together these sales posts! I look forward to these whenever I want to shop! :D

Second, I was wondering if you've heard/seen of other drugstores doing the BOGO free Ecotools sales? There aren't any Rite Aids in my area! :(

And I'm sorry, but I haven't seen bogo on ecotools anywhere else but rite aid. :(

  13. Hey! I generally stalk on blogs rather than talk, but having said that, I just would like to say that I absolutely love this section of the blog! It's absolutely amazing. It's what I look forward to read every week. You saved my life when I had to start my makeup collection from scratch and I bought all the drugstore store essentials until I worked my way up and save for my other upscale "essentials". =D
BUT YES, in NYC, the Walgreens have the Rimmel products for 50% off. (But wait, there's more!) There's some nail enamels on display that's with a free top/base coat for just the same price $4.99. So with the sale, it's $2.50...and the coupon... ONLY $1.50 for two Rimmel nail polishes! What an awesome deal!
What would I do without this every week?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Also note that CVS is giving $5 extrabucks for $15 on CVS products (makeup, skincare, etc.).

I got the Glam Eyes Brown eyeliner pots trio from Physician's Formula in one transaction, carried the $7EB over to the next... got a CVS acne treatment, and two CVS eye makeup removers (l'oreal dupe and neutrogena dupe). Totaled about ~$22 out of pocket with $5EB still. =)

  15. Thank you so much for taking the time to put these lists together. They are a huge help.
