New coupons, freebies, deals and reminders!

I've got a lot to cover in this post so let's get straight to it:

Want a FREE travel size tube of Aveda Hand Relief? Print this coupon and take it to your local Aveda store to redeem (you've got until 6/30 to redeem it so no rush).

There's a new $1 off Maybelline cosmetics coupon up on the Rite Aid Facebook page. Grab that one before it's gone, because you can combine it with a Maybelline manufacturer's coupon (if you have one) for even more savings!

My phone: September Target Mobile Coupons

If you shop at Target and you're not already signed up to receive Target Mobile Coupons, you are really missing out. Each month they send you a text message containing a link to a brand new batch of coupons. To redeem them, just pull up the link on your smartphone and have the cashier scan the barcode. It couldn't be any easier! I've been a subscriber for well over a year now, and I'd say that just about every month, there is at LEAST one beauty-related coupon. This month there are two (see above).

A reminder that Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty is still going on and TOMORROW (9/20) is the Butter London BOGOFREE nail polish sale (retail price for Butter London polishes is $14 so this is a fantastic deal). The limit on this deal is two, and it's available in-store AND online. Thanks so much, sabrinaj99, for the reminder!

There are some new printable Red Plum coupons up that just so happen to pair nicely with some of the deals at the drugstore THIS WEEK!

1) There's a new $2 off L'Oreal Excellence Hair Color coupon that you can combine with the Walgreen's in-ad coupon (in this week's ad) for $6.99 L'Oreal Excellence! This would bring your total down to just $4.99 for a box of hair color. (NOTE: remember that Walgreens requires you to have an even ratio of coupons to items in a single transaction. So you can't just buy a box of hair color and use two coupons--you'll need to have another item in your transaction. Couponers call this "filler", like a pencil, gum, or something under $1 to add to the transaction.)

2) Dove haircare is BOGO1/2OFF at Walgreens this week and there's a new $1 off Dove haircare coupon here.

3) There's also a new $1 off L'Oreal EverPure/Sleek/Strong coupon here. I don't believe these products are on sale this week, but they do go on sale frequently so print that one and save if it you're a fan of this line.

Dollar General is offering an online promotion this month where new customers will receive free shipping and 10% off their first order by entering code DG10FIRST at checkout. Their online inventory isn't that extensive, but if you can find something you'd like to have in bulk, this is a great time to get it at an even better price.

Remember the Mood Struck polishes that reader Gaby spotted at Rite Aid back in May? Well my DAD spotted a great deal online and told me about it the other day (even he is on the hunt for beauty deals now! Ha ha!). You can get a 3-pack of these polishes for $$8.95 here. The retail price at Rite Aid is $3.99, so that's quite the deal! By the way, that site has other polish and beauty deals, which you can see here. Thanks SO much, Dad!

Left to right: Black Patent, You Gurt Style, Orange You Cute?, Sheer Pressure, Pink About It

And finally, reader beavisfreak spotted these Sally Hansen 5-packs at her local Big Lots the other day and was kind enough to share a pic! For those of you who haven't seen these polishes before, they're the older, now-discontinued formula that was a precursor to the Complete Salon Manicure line. According to beavisfreak, Sheer Pressure is the only shimmery polish; the rest are all cremes. Thanks so much, beavisfreak, for the scoop! This is a great deal at just $1.30/per bottle.

  2. If the dark color in that Sally Hansen five-pack is "Black Patent," I would snap that up! In my experience, Black Patent is a very dense black that applies well.
