Need your feedback (pretty please)

Hello my lovely readers! I've been hard at work doing some much-needed cleaning in my house for the past week, including clearing out and reorganizing my spare bedroom/office/storage room. During the course of my cleaning, you will never believe what I found. I stumbled across a box that was still taped shut from probably two or three moves ago (we're talking maybe 10 years) and all it said on the box was "Misc. Not Important". Well, with a captivating title like that, it's no wonder I hadn't opened it in years, right?

Much to my shock and surprise, when I opened this box today, I found MAKEUP. I'm talking vintage makeup. Stuff from the late 80s and 90s, including some of the original Urban Decay eyeshadow singles, Stila shadows, and an unopened two-pack of Revlon Street Wear nail polishes. There is so much great stuff in this box I can hardly believe it. Oh, and I also found one of the original Wet n Wild nail polishes from the late '80s that I just recently said, on this very blog, that I wish I still had. Well...I have it!

So my question for you is: would you be interested in seeing pictures of all this old drugstore and high-end makeup? I know that things like old-school L'Oreal eyeshadow singles and Revlon lipsticks are fascinating to ME, but I don't want to bore you if that's not something you're interested in seeing (from a historical perspective).

Would you please leave a comment on this post and let me know your thoughts? I think it might be fun to do maybe one post a week with a few pictures and descriptions, and I can continue doing this until we've covered my entire old-school stash.

Can't wait to hear your thoughts, and no hard feelings if you're NOT interesting in seeing this stuff. Please be honest, ok? And thank you in advance!

Love,
R.xo

  38. YES PLEASE!! I think you should do something like - compare the items through time ya know. Like how Revlon's old lippies were compared to now or something like that. You probably shouldn't try it on but looking back and thinking back to your experiences, how have these brands improve and grow?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Yes!!! I still regret that they discontinued Streetwear to this day...
