The Wednesday Question

This week's question is one of those fantasy questions that's always fun to think about. I look forward to reading your answers to this one:

If you had a $25 gift certificate and FREE SHIPPING to one online beauty retailer, what would you buy and which retailer would you buy it from?

I think I would spend my GC at nonpareilboutique and get several Kleancolor eyeshadow palettes because that's the one cheapie brand I have yet to try (aside from their nail polishes) and I've heard so many great things about those palettes. So what about you? I can't wait to see your answers!

  1. $25 and free shipping? I'd choose e.l.f.! I don't really like to order from them online because I don't usually place large orders, and who wants to pay $6.95 s/h for a few dollars worth of products? It's ridiculous. Shipping ends up costing more than the stuff you're buying!

With a gift card and free shipping, I could get AT LEAST 25 makeup items from them to play with. I actually really like e.l.f.'s lip glosses, especially the Super Glossy Lip Shines, as well as some of their Elements customizable items. And if I used a 50%-75% off coupon code, I could get even more stuff for $25. w00t!

  2. I'd buy from Fyrinnae, though shipping is always free on orders over $20 with them. I'd pick up some more Pixie Epoxy, some eye shadows, their pointed crease brush, and a lip lustre.

  3. I think I'd go to E.L.F too! :)

  4. I'd go to non Pareil boutique also, only I'd get NYX eye palettes and some NYX lipsticks.

  5. Ooo, easy! I was just looking at these earlier today.... I

would go to nailbeauty4u.com where China Glaze's Up and Away nail polishes are on sale for $3.99 a piece.... I seriously NEED Re-fresh Mint (mint green), Light as Air (pale lavender), and Four Leaf Clover (teal).... I guess I could pick a couple more too, with that much cash! But these are the ones I've been wanting since I saw swatches online in December.

  7. E.L.F. hands down. It would be sooo tempting to try some Fyrinnae but I have a big list from ELF so I'd take care of that for sure.

  10. I have never tried any NYX, and their shipping is really high so I've heard. I'd probably get a bunch of eyeshadows.

  11. I would probably order a whole bunch of eyeshadows from NYX.com! Their eyeshadow trios are amazing! They are smooth, super pigmented, and last such a long time (even without a primer).

  12. AHHH - so many choices :D But probably Coastal Scents - b/c I've heard so much about their products. Plus I can always use some new brushes ;p I might also choose like F21 just cuz I need new clothes or BBW because I LOVE their stuff :D

  13. I would have to say either Aromaleigh or Fyrrinae. You can get the most bang for your buck, and they have only a gazillion colors that I want!!!

  14. I think usually i would go for one of my favourite mineral makeup companies (aromaleigh, fyrrinae, evil shades) or try a new one i'm interested in. But right now i'm obsessed with nail polishes. So i would go to transdesign.com and get as many china glaze and color club polishes as i could :)

  15. Thank you ladies for participating in my little fantasy question! You all bring up some great points about e.l.f., NYX, and other brands. I loved reading these answers, but now it makes me want to place an order for real! lol. xo
